According to Jim Sterling's review, it's the TV show aspect that outshines the gameplay by far.

Powers are very limited, but I expected it as you can't do much with time.

I predict mostly 7, 8, and 9s...low 80 being the average score on Metacritic due to short length and a bit above average gameplay with the story being the main selling point, one factor is alternate story forks.

@Makemyeyesrain
lol How does he know if he doesn't have a review copy of the game?

And if a reviewer misses a single piece of story info, I guess the review is inaccurate. lol

I trust Jim Sterling way more than CEX, so right now on average, before the embargo lift...it stands at 8.5 on how I view it before playing it.

First game I played on it was Crash: The Wrath of Cortex back in 2001. GTA 3 and Final Fantasy 10 would be other great games I would play in the beginning years. Wow, the controller was a huge step up from that N64 controller that I rocked before the masterpiece of the Dualshock 2. Discovering the R3 and L3 clicks sounded like the future...the innovation that this system breathe. Heh, anyone remember that 3D clock in settings? I had fun exploring and messing with the settings for a while. As ...

Not very wise to judge a book by it's cover, just like judging characters by appearance.

A lot of old Final Fantasy games didn't have a full cast of interesting looking characters, but when you read their dialogue and in-game story, you became much more attached to them.

And I was also thinking Yakuza-like or some sort of gang like DaddyPoppa mentioned. Definitely characters that have known each other for a while and/or have worked in the same crew, b...

No hate. A lot of us miss out on great franchises or games, but play others. Like I never played Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2, but always hear so many great things about them.

If you can, you should get the enhanced version of Final Fantasy 7 or Final Fantasy 10 HD. Those two games will really show you the fundamentals for names of different types of magic, creatures, and other things. I'm not sure if 15 uses magic ranks, but for fire it's like, Fire, Fira, then Firaga. Ther...

Final Fantasy 14, which has real time combat...

...is amazing.

In my top 5 Final Fantasy games, for sure. 15 looks like it gives you a much more tactical approach than turn based. Attacking, dodging, magic, and more in just a few seconds of action.

Sounds like you're describing Dead Rising 2 Case Zero outside the view of the main character and that little piece was still fun to play. lol

Final Fantasy 15 has been in development for 10 years and being Final Fantasy, there will a lot of cool ass characters and ememies.

You're gonna be itchy for days not getting this when you find out that all you described was less than 1% of the game.

It's fine, man. :)

I fairly pointed out the positives and the negatives and I'll probably get the disagrees because they don't want to see the bigger picture. Sony is being intelligent here because with the reception of the Xbox One upgrade rumor, why would they just come and say they're building something similar a bit after? Sony is trying to say that they're doing it first so don't worry about the competition getting a...

Sony is most likely covering all bases with this PS4.5 add on.

1. They currently hold the best graphics on console and they want to keep it that way... Especially with the NX coming soon, they want current PS4 owners to upgrade for an extra $200 instead of them buying the NX for $400-$500 for better looking 3rd party games.

2. Xbox One's cloud computing is soon to be utilized, as shown with Crackdown 3. In order to combat this, a PS4 add on/update will gi...

You're right, I forgot to single MGS 4 out with that very lengthy ending. I was mostly talking about Big Boss as a playable character. In MGS 5, both Big Boss and Solid Snake don't see eye to eye, so they could of used David Hayter once more for the recent one just like MGS 3.

David voiced Big Boss/Naked Snake in all previous games involving that character and 99% of people didn't complain about him having the same voice as Solid Snake. This is understandable because Solid seemed like a much closer clone than Liquid, in tactics, skill, and others.

You calling David a "f*ckwit" and having no knowledge of the franchise is pretty dumb.

Some people don't understand that David Hayter IS the voice of Snake, both Big Boss and Solid Snake. That's like Mark Hamill, the iconic voice of animated Joker, being kicked out for someone who has had no interest in the character in the past and sounds very generic or mediocre.

David did an awesome job for both characters in games like Metal Gear Solid 1 and Metal Gear Solid 3. He could of defined Kojima's last MGS game much better.

And we might not see any more episodic games come from Square Enix, which in turn, means, they will never make a Deus Ex game or Tomb Raider game in the same format. I rather buy games like those complete than buy them piece by piece to the outcome that I might have lost more money and time.

And I highly doubt that they won't make more Hitman games. It's a successful, unique franchise and I'm sure that when the game comes bundled up with all episodes, they will s...

Then you don't understand what the scene was really about and who Tidus really is.

Tidus was only 17 years old in FF10, growing up without a father in his teen years. It explains the child at heart trait because there wasn't a real father to make him "man up."

He acts childish because he's only 17 and lives carefree, but acts serious when the situation is, too. For example, he cracks no jokes when Yuna gets kidnapped or disappears and tr...

I think the main story line quests will be separated by level. For example, Chapter 1 quests will be 1-10, Chapter 2 quests, 11-20, and so on... Making the game up to 10 chapters, the 10th being at it's max level. Making the math,

1 chapter = 5 hours
10 x 5 = 50 hours

This also includes cutscenes, of course... So if there are about 5 main quests for each chapter, it's possible that you will need to indulge in a side quest or 2 to help you lev...

Looks like a mix of Crysis, Far Cry, and a bit of Fallout so far...

It looks great, gameplay wise, and in hopes that they really improved the game from it's terrible, sluggish beta. From the gameplay shown here, still looks slow, thus, maybe, making the game more tactical and less guns only blazing.

"The casuals have chosen PS4 this gen. That's all."

Heh...no one on this site believes you either have or played a PS4.

The reason why it runs lower resolution and unsteady frame rate on Xbox One is because the hardware is garbage.
