Everyone has such a different opinion on what the best game is. I could never narrow it down to just a single one. The best I could do would be a top 5 and that list could change because I've played so many games I'm sure I forgot a few. Below is a few games that I loved and are always in my top picks
Shadowrun(Gen)
Civilization IV
Skyrim
Uncharted Waters
Sim City
Lufia was a great RPG from back in the day. Lufia 2 was a prequel wasn't it? Hard to remember all those years ago
SR4 is going to be 29.99 retail here and Tomb Raider is going to be 14.99 retail, Kinda hard to pass on those deals
Star Wars Knights of the old republic were were the last SW games I played but they were great. Hope Online is not a requirement as I do love the SW franchise
It seems exactly like those with the difference being its futuristic instead of fantasy. Its not like you can solo the game from my understanding and in the E3 demo it played out as if there are PvP areas as well instead of just PvE. With FF14 and TESO requiring a sub it is worrisome that Ubisoft may try their hand at a subscription based game.
I'm worried this game is going to be subscription based, even after we pay full retail price.
Every game that is a cross gen port should run at 1080/60 simply because the new systems are way more powerful than their counterparts. I'm not a PC gamer but even I do realize how thats its been a standard for years in everything but video games and the new gen should have been able to do it at the start before the games get bigger in every way later in the gen.
A few misleading pieces of info in this article. AC4 runs at 1080/30 or did I miss when Ubisoft said it was no...
The title is miss leading and that seems more like a PR answer from Activision than a confirmation.
At the very least everyone knows that they have not sold the IP
I hope this game does well. This game and Infamous look to be my only purchases in the new year so far
I play till I'm strong enough to beat Karstaag, then I begin anew. I enjoy getting up to that point and have played as a few of the different races and with different styles. I always seem to come back to Skyrim more than any other game.
It is the reason I'm watching The Elder Scrolls Online closely to see if it can capture the same feeling.
"has a strong elder scrolls feel too it"
Does that mean you can go through the game and dungeons solo if you choose to?
Skyrim is the best game of the generation and the DLC was pretty good.
This must be in the US? I was Xmas shopping yesterday and there was nothing like those pics at our local Toys R Us. Looks nice though, maybe it just wasn't set up here yet.
Some are pretty funny. I liked the MIB one and the one where they are drop kicked into the pool.
@DragonKnight
The Precursor Race and reliving the memories of your Ancestors through DNA is what drew me into the series along with my friends before we even knew what the gameplay elements or even the type of game. The AC1 and AC3 are my least favorite games of the series.
Altair gets a pass on no charisma because he was the ultimate Assassin, its also his only redeeming quality in him being a better character than Connor, There was nothing else to him.
Ezio and Edward have more charisma and that's why I think they are liked. Altair and Connor just don't have it. If they keep making charismatic characters I don't think Ubisoft has anything to worry about in their annual releases of AC.
You know if another company could come along and make a FPS with local multi-player with all the online options as well, we wouldn't have to buy this "rubbish" but seems like no other company is up to the challenge and that leaves us with COD
@Lwhit6
My game has a bit of a glitch at times, when I'm boarding enemy ships, sometimes Ed won't go into combat mode until after he gets hit a couple times.
*played over 50 hours and has only happened 4 times
Edit: comment was for Lwhit6. Also I will continue to buy AC games yearly if they continue being this good or better
AC3 is the worst IMO. There were to many time skips. Connor had problems and it seemed like he even made the wrong choices by choice as from what I can remember now. AC3L gets a bad rep because of Conner. AC3L is a solid game and better than AC3 for sure.
I also liked AC2 but I played it back to back with Brotherhood and I can't seem to separate the two titles, so its a toss up between them both.
I love just sailing around being a pirate
Fallout 4 with some exclusive deal
