I have one of these with 6Gb RAM and I run Windows XP PLUS Fedora Core 7 WHILE I'm running Mac OS X. All these on different Spaces desktops (I have 2 desktops for Mac OS X, 1 for Xp and another for Linux)
OR...
I reboot into that same Windows XP partition when I want to play Windows only games.
Pretty sweet setup, love it.

Too bad all of those are coming out way AFTER GTAIV. MGS will come out at least 1 month later, then the other 3 after in Sept. I doubt I will still be playing GTAIV when MGS comes out.
Also, I see more people buying PS3s to play GTAIV and 1 month later MGS4 than buy a 360 and then play GTAIV and more GTAIV "exclusive" content.
Anyway, I will still get all of these games, will you?
I already pre-ordered a special edition for the PS3 but would like to wish all 360 owners the best of luck (no irony at all, I mean it) since a RRoD right after getting a kick ass game like this would suck big time. No one deserves such bad luck.
PS: I have 2 friends that got RRoD within 1 week of getting Halo 3 and another was RRoD when Halo 3 come out, not fun for them since they were waiting for the game for months.
Man, these guys are on a role to cap the PS3's power. The improvements they put into their engine from R1 to R&C boosted at least 3x (or even 4x) more power, now they say to expect the same type boost from R&C to R2... holy crap.
R&C, technically, is the most impressive game on the PS3 with lots and lots of enemies, cool particle effects (weapons for the win) and amazing shaders, high-res textures (400Mb of streamed high-res textures), etc and all that at 720p running...

Actually MS's entertainment division is still down about $6.5B... but it does not really matter anyway as long as they stay profitable in the future.
Toshiba is an electronic manufacturer, they can be advertising their new laptops, HDTVs, etc. Have they said it will be a HDDVD advertising?
They should have put in a DualShock 3 instead of the 2 SixAxis controllers, otherwise pretty good pack. 2 great games and an extra controller for 100 euros more, not bad at all

Those PS3 images look amazing (the Blur effect is pretty similar to the motion blur effect Uncharted uses when we turn around very fast).
I wonder how can ripten capture those amazing screenshots from HDMI... maybe using HDMI->DVI but how do they get rid of the HDCP?

How about Ratchet, RockBand, CoD3, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Resistance, Oblivion, MotorStorm, Assassin's Creed (well, this one is not worth it a buy but I still own it), Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
I own all of the above (and a few crappy others) and I can tell you they are all great games that are worth buying.
This is a great game and totally deserves the million mark. Also I think it has legs to even more.

Actually they estimated 11M in the 2008 FY alone, that would be over 14M LTD.
I don't think they will make that number even with a price cut. I wish they do but I seriously doubt. Anyway we still didn't see their earning report for Q3 (Oct-Dec) so they might have shipped 6M consoles last quarter, rofl
Guys, just a reminder, Sony also officially denied last year's $100 price drop. And then a couple weeks later it happened. They can't tell us until they officially announce it.
Anyway, I don't really care, I got a 2nd PS3 last Sunday for $300 (SonyCard) and 5 bluray movies. So I already got a PS3 for $300 :)
Now, if this happens so early in the year and with the massive line up PS3 has for 2008, PS3 will catch 360 faster than I expected (I expected another 2 year...

Where did you see Project Offset footage running on a 360? All I've seen was footage of the PC (probably high end PC).
Also, Project Offset is not a 360 exclusive, I will play it on my PC :)
