Yup. I'm with meep316.
Microsoft needs to shut down their xCloud program.
Every company doing business in China understands and knows about IP theft or the possibility of IP theft. The TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) was supposed to address concerns of IP protection and theft and had multilateral support (Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Vietnam, and the United States). Multilateral treaties are extremely important in global economics because a treaty requires all members to enforce sanctions or consequences i...
Exactly.
Sony wants to see how Microsoft operates and probably wants to invest in their own cloud service later on down the road. If you take into account the consistency of Playstation exclusives and what an incredible piece of hardware the PS4 was it isn't quite the leap to see Sony create a better cloud service eventually than that of Azure. I'm sure there are many business leaders out there and companies that wouldn't mind moving over to Sony over Microsoft...
Cro Magnon = John Wick skin
Neanderthal = Reaper skin
What camp you in?
Phil, Major, and team Xbox can be longer make snide remarks at Sony since Sony is now a Microsoft partner. Xbox fans can no longer make fun of PSN or PS now performance either as it is a reflection on Azure.
Haha, fun times!
This is great news and once again shows why Sony is revered and a headline grabber, which is something Microsoft hasn't figured out yet. Sony was relentless in their pursuit to correct a criticism and it looks like they succeeded. Great consumer friendly move!
Nintendo and Microsoft need to step up. Great move by Sony once again.
When you're on a sinking ship the drinks are free!
Sony knows the majority of gamers would never consider getting an Xbox so they're going to be aggressive protecting their bottom line. Good for them, they're a business.
PlayStation could adopt a DRM scheme like Xbox tried in 2013 or increase their PS+ pricing or kill off every online component for any game exceeding 2 years and they'd still outsell Xbox.
Pretty bad form that these small, insignificant devs publicly badmouth Sony which has provided such a huge platform so these little titles have a chance at life.
Shawn Layden is correct in paying lip service because he and Sony know 90 million+ PlayStation users aren't switching to Xbox and they're not going to let their business model get disrupted by Microsoft funded and generated outrage.

Noble but companies only respond to the bottom line.
You have some gamers whining and complaining about BC and crossplay, but the majority of gamers continue supporting Sony as market leader despite not having those features. You can stomp your feet all day long, but Sony knows you're never going to buy an Xbox so they're going to do what any rational corporation is going to do and that is maximize profitability by not investing in features that aren't really a...
Whether it's okay or not, you, and others like you, would never buy an Xbox.
So in the end every sale of said console-that leads toward market leadership-is okay with the consumer.
Everyone freaking out about Jim Ryan are being silly.
1. Jim could announce that the PS5 won't have BC and crossplay and it would still outsell their competition.
2. Jim could oversee a PS5 that has less exclusives next gen than this gen and it would still outsell its competition.
3. Jim could oversee another hacking event that compromises user accounts and the PS5 would still outsell its competition.
You know why...
True trust as well. It's all just noise.
I was skeptical. I played the demo. It's not going to flop. I felt like Ironman. Fun game and the character design is vintage bioware.
Who cares? If you think they're just doing it for attention then it's best to ignore it. Whether their "pandering" continues, it inherently isn't deleterious as long as the game remains fun and engaging when played.
Sometimes I feel developers do this to troll the alt-right crowd and are entertained by the copious amounts of amounts of salt.
It's the new hot coffee controversy.
Before sex and violence drew headlines, conservatives, who have now embraced sex and violence as normative features of games and media, have turned their ire to social justice causes or appeals to equality.
In truth it shouldn't bother anyone. If it turned out that e...
Agreed.
Socialism sucks.
Eliminate police and firefighters unions now. Privatize all roads and education too. The fact that we have public roads and education is damn tragedy.
