I'm here just to educate. There has been some positive press regarding Xbox over the past few days so there might be some consumers on the fence that might consider the Xbox Series X, which all gaming enthusiasts and those who follow gaming news consider the vastly inferior product. Don't let the smoke and mirrors purchase of Bethesda fool you, the PS5, its library, tech, and financial backing is still heads and shoulders above Xbox.
Thankfully, on places like Insta...

Xbox getting shit on again this generation. All those billions that Microsoft is dumping into Xbox and they're still losing 2:1 to Sony. What a money sink. PlayStation's flying off the shelves and creating insurmountable buzz on social media while the Series X sits on shelves all over the US and world with no hype at all.
End the experiment MS shareholders. Xbox is shitting on your shares.

Hang it up, Phil. Your controller and UI design coupled with the fact that PS5 is proving to be more powerful means you didn't go all out for your dwindling base of fans.
The sooner Xbox becomes a publisher the better it's going to be for the entire industry.

Only morons, idiots, and pipe dreaming Xbox hangers-on don't see that Xbox is a dead brand walking already.
Glad to see the majority of realistic gamers here agree that Xbox is on its way to being phased out. No way does this billion dollar proposition by Microsoft stays afloat with less than 20% marketshare.

It probably didn't sell out in certain regions and it looks like they're playing the shell game with the left over units.
Even if the PS5 rendered its games in monochromatic 720p it would still outsell the Series X because demand for Sony's masterfully designed console is unprecedented.
Phil Spencer has already come out and said he doesn't care if this console sells, dampening enthusiasm for Xbox fans worldwide.
Microsoft should just pull the plug on the console. No one here, Reddit, or social media seems excited for the thing and it looks like the Series X is going to be yet another money pit for Microsoft.
I honestly don't even know why N4G allows news about Xbox here. Because news and opinions about Xbox are universally nega...
It seems so. You'll find here and on places on Reddit like /r/games or /r/gaming the overwhelming replies (like 70%) on threads with Xbox news always mention anecdotes that users are skipping the Xbox for PlayStation because they have PC's that could run Xbox exclusives.
Phil should recognize this and cancel production of the series X and use the millions he'd save on console manufacturing for publishing on other platforms.
Most gamers own a PC that is just as powerful as a Series X and own a PS4 or Switch, not an Xbox because that'd be redundant.
Phil needs to see the writing on the wall and could save billions by deleting production of the extremely unpopular Xbox console and use the resources to become a publisher.
I think the majority of gamers on N4G and elsewhere would agree with this move.
This is a great move for Sony. The opportunity for Microsoft to make the same investment was there but for whatever reason they didn't bite (perhaps Tim Sweeny doesn't like Xbox).
I hope it leads to a timed exclusive of Fortnite 2 to PlayStation or making it so Xbox is forced to play higher licensing fees that'll make Xbox exclusives utilizing Unreal cost prohibitive. Either way I'm happy to see Sony being hyper aggressive and looking to muscle Xbox out of ...
Why is Microsoft even manufacturing an Xbox Series X then?
This writer needs to do the responsible thing and write a follow up and ask what's the point of an Xbox. All those millions wasted on a console, studios, promotions, marketing...for nothing.
Save consumers a headache and compel Microsoft to stop burning everyone else's money. It's quite obvious with the PS5 being more powerful and the controller more hype building that Sony is just g...
That's why the PS5 is going to crush the series X next gen. Microsoft doesn't have a Cerny or anyone even close to this man's genius and couldn't probably even afford him. What he did with the PS4 was incredible and I expect the same fine touch for the PS5.
Well since you cut off my discussion without furthering it my through line was to state that Chick Fil A's CEO has the right to donate to any cause they wish, no matter how abhorrent, and consumers can coalesce and boycott. Chick Fil A's CEO donated thousands to anti-gay organizations that supported gay conversion programs.
Gay conversion has been deemed inhumane and the 14th amendment of the constitution recognizes the LGBT community as citizens with the same rights as everyone else.
With these facts out of the way why is it so abhorrent to either boycott or bring to light a popular corporation's monetary support ...
PlayStation is not going to attend so what's the point? Watching Xbox flail around desperately trying to stay relevant? No one tunes in for Xbox and Geoff knows this. Why bother wasting resources and energy? Good for Geoff.
I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft offered them more but they went with Sony for much less due to Sony's professionalism, pedigree, and better tech and engineering support.
If this data doesn't compel Phil Spencer and MS to drop out of console manufacturing then I don't know what will.
Sony is the only player in this space. Incredible.

Hopefully Sony execs see this number. If devs aren't excited or prioritizing the failing xbox brand based on this poll they could incentivize devs by making typical 3rd party big hitters PlayStation exclusives or timed exclusives so they could eliminate the brand from the industry thus giving PlayStation brand 30-40 million more users. I honestly see this happening.

We won't be content until the headline reads, "Microsoft has quietly abandoned its Xbox Series X plans."
More bad press for Xbox and Microsoft, lol.
Read the tea leaves, Phil. No one likes your product. Divert your Xbox manufacturing budget somewhere else more productive and powerful.

A lot of them are smokers. Covid affects smokers worse. Myocarditis is one of the conditions Covid exacerbates in the under 70 demographic.

Let's breakdown the facts:
Chick Fil A's CEO donated thousands to anti-gay organizations that supported gay conversion programs.
Gay conversion has been deemed inhumane and the 14th amendment of the constitution recognizes the LGBT community as citizens with the same rights as everyone else.
