Only an idiot would keep playing a game for 200 hours when they didn't even enjoy playing it. Most people would just play something else.

I agree, very well put.
Because UT mods only dealt with maps and models and gametypes, you couldn't add visual improvements because the ps3 is limited by its hardware.
But a lot of pc gamers own consoles as well, because obviously there are great games on console that are only on console. You could turn it round the other way as well though, a lot of console only gamers are missing out if they don't have a gaming pc.
And while you are right about gameplay, it's not something that pc gamers don't already know. Pc gamers can have games with great gameplay AND superior visuals.

It doesn't matter whether every pc could run it, it is what it is able to look like if a pc is capable of running it. What should they do, show you the games on the lowest settings? Would that make you feel better?
Most gaming pcs from the last few years are more than capable of playing games on settings that look better than console anyway, and that's with recently released games as well. There's very few games that have pushed pc hardware until recently.

I bet most Zelda fanboys will just play the game and be content with the game getting a great score. Which it has been getting, including this one.
When something includes 'confirmed' and ends with a question mark, you know it's not confirmed at all. And is mostly not worth your time reading.
I must admit I have never played Gothic, I might have to give it a try. But also, I've seen vids of the game and I can't say it seems like a good move to play it after I've played Skyrim.
