All I got from the reveal was it was a man and a girl against some sort of (zombie) infected enemy. I have great respect for ND, but until we have something a bit more clear cut than a cutscene we don't really know a lot.

That always cracks me up, people talking about programming a game like Skyrim like it's the easiest thing to do.

I don't trust most user generated scores. Fanbois plague Metacritic. All it takes is one member of a forum to go 'Lolz, lets go troll this review score' and it all goes downhill from there.
It's also number one in the Steam charts and it isn't on sale there.
Besides, it's been heavily advertised and also well rated. That must also have a lot to do with it.
It's probably just because it's an amazing game and people wanted it.
