It's a great game to play even now, that's the Rockstar magic.

EDIT:Also, just bought the entire GTA collection for less than a fiver on Steam. What a bargain.

Well it doesn't say it won't be for consoles as well, but I'd be surprised if they could get it to work on consoles tbh.

I know what you mean, I'm still playing through Dark Souls and I'm picking up Arkham City today simply because I must have it. By the end of November not only will I be broke but I will also not have enough time to play everything I buy.

In one way going unemployed would be a good move, but then I wouldn't be able to afford the games.

It's a catch 22.

:(

Yeah, take a pic with your phone and put a bit of paper on top of the game case with 'Ezio2048' on it.

Instant proof.

I've played Oblivion, FO3 and Rage to death and they are not broken at all. I encountered as many bugs as I would with any other game on the market, hardly any.

I always wonder whether the people who complain about them had played them extensively.

No, with fps games I don't think it's necessary at all. Rage wasn't an rpg, no matter what people may have thought it was going to be.

With a lot of 3rd person games, then sure, it helps because you are playing as a character that you can see. But with most fps's it's not needed at all, because the character is supposed to be you.

Maybe for rpg fps games your character talking would be ok, but even then it's not something that every f...

Not every main character needs a voice.

After the patch the pc version runs fine. Don't know why you felt the need to take a swipe at Carmack in an article that's not in any way related to Rage.

They're too big to care about being greedy asshats unfortunately. Every avenue must be explored and exploited until all avenues are under lock and key.

It's the publishing business way. Leave no stone unturned.

It's impressive to still see mods for the game so long after it was released. Seven years on and it still looks great for its age, even without mods.

I disagree, just because games are interactive and a story can change does not mean it is superior. Don't get me wrong, I adore games, but I also love films. A great film is just as satisfying to watch as a game is to play. Some films I have seen many times over and over again because they are made so well. The same can be said for games I have played obviously.

Games and film both have their place, and although games are becoming more cinematic I think films will always ...

I don't know why you are getting disagrees, it's true. How can you take someones opinion seriously when they haven't even played the game?

It was just an opportunity for D3athc3ll to have a dig at the game, even though he doesn't know what he'd talking about.

Anyway, regardless of low res textures this game still has some great visuals, and the character design alone is better than most games on the market at the moment.

Still haven't picked this up yet, waiting for the pc release.

Good review.

It was a good game, it could be frustrating sometimes but it had a lot going for it and I enjoyed it. It begged for a sequel so hopefully they've made a lot of improvements. Maybe they can flesh the story out more this time around.

Looking forward to it anyway.

GTA 3 - Or 'The prostitute killing murder simulator' as the newspapers tend to call it.

I played through it again recently, it still hasn't lost its charm even now. It still cracked me up. Listening to big tough Toni getting nagged at by his mother is as funny as ever.

GTA4 had a lot of humour, Bruce being the highlight for me, but I'd like them to have a bit more in the next one because the other games including GTA3 were packed with silly co...

The thing is that while Naughty Dog only have to concentrate on one system ID have to make it work on 3 seperate systems, and even more to try and make it work as well as possible on the various pc setups there are.

It's very easy for someone to say 'Oh look at what Naughty Dog/Santa Monica Studio/Guerilla/Blah blah blah can do', but it's much harder for a dev to work on a multiplat game. There is only so much they can do, they have to get the game working as ...

I'd be more interested in a Super Nintendo that can play Vita games.

What?

I'll still be buying the game, but I'm not happy with the route that a lot of pubs seem to be going down. Online code, sure I don't mind that, fair enough. But to start locking out SP portions of a game is not fair to the consumer.

Any number of reasons could stop someone from being able to download the extra content. And what about if I fancy playing the game 10 years from now on another ps3 I got somewhere else? The content will be gone, and I'll just have t...

It does work on pc :S

Well it does on mine after the patch, pretty much flawlessly as well. And that's with an ATI card.

Maybe it's just your pc.
