Every game has flaws, and Arkham City is no exception. But it's still one of the best games I've ever played. Maybe the focus should be on what the game does right instead of what it does wrong.

They can learn to use people who have a genuine love for the subject matter they are dealing with. And treat the license with respect.
It's something that is very clear when you play the Batman games, they seem to be more of a labour of love than just something to rake the cash in. There is a lot of attention to detail that a Batman fan can appreciate.

True. That was some trailer though. But this one is all because of the series, it's all gameplay footage. The game just manages to generate a lot of attention.

You may still get your wish I imagine. I should think that they've listened to all the criticism that GTA4 got and have taken it on board, and will probably be trying to take all that made San Andreas special and add it to this one along with everything else they have planned.
Hopefully they will anyway. Fingers crossed.

That's fine by me. It will still be a lot bigger than what San Andreas was.
They have always been a 'family friendly' game company, but they've still had mature games on their consoles as well.
I doubt it, it would cut their sales.
The gameplay and the atmosphere should. They are really great games, the story line is of little concern tbh, although you do get a feeling of what the world is like from the characters you encounter.

I like gaming, but I'd have to agree with the game makers. The way you simply see it as a way a game could open up and give you extra ways to play the game from killing kids is mind-boggling. Yes it's a game, but we should still have cetain morals to abide by.

The only people who hate people who play on pc are people who haven't got a decent pc to play on.
Sony and Microsoft would kill to have the many ips that Nintendo have at their disposal. How many ips could a random person be able to recognise from Nintendo? Work out how many a random person would recognise from Sony and MS, you could count them on one hand.
You must have swearing as well, then it's hardcore. Nevermind the fact that most mario games have some of the most challenging tasks in gaming, which you need real skill to accomplish.
But it hasn't got blood and guts and enemies who say 'Fuck'.
So it's not hardcore.
I want this game so badly. Everything I read about it makes the wait even more unbearable.
