Capcom DLC and business strategy in general is too f'd up for me to justify buying Capcom games.
Petition to change the end of this article started.
No, now every developer is waiting to see if Bioware can get away with selling people the end of their game.
How many times does Capcom have to pull crap like this before people stop buying their games?
Resident Evil 5 was the last Capcom game I bought, and that was because of the RE5 Gold version that you were required to buy to get Move support. Now I'm done with that company. If I want one of their games, I'll just buy it super cheap used.
Eh, endings, am I right?
Anyone else feel like Epic's ability to climb up their own ass the last 3-4 years when it comes to the UE is only matched by how much Microsoft does it in regards to Windows?
Everybody programming games on one engine is only bad for the industry. Yes, we end up with more games and the turnaround on those games is quick and painless, but then we end up with 95% of the games that get released being bland and uninspired.
I can appreciate licensing an engine ...
This game has 99 problems, but the ending ain't one of them.
EA/Bioware anticipated your displeasure with the ending of Mass Effect 3,and has paid DLC waiting in the wings to "fix" it for you.
Guess Tecmo Koei didn't advertise enough on IGN. BOOM!
People need to shut the hell up about a price cut on the Vita. It's a $250 piece of hardware that will be supported for the next 6-10 years, while Apple is dropping a $400-$500 iPad/iPhone revision every year and people just eat that up. If Sony/MS/Nintendo dropped a new console revision every single year, the gaming market would implode, but because they ask for a somewhat premium price for a great product that will be around for years, people immediately want to see hardware prices slas...
I'll throw in $10 to change the end of the last episode of the X-Files.
Who's with me?
They may announce something, they're not going to ship this year, especially with an Xbox 360 Halo 4 in the 4th quarter, they're not going to overshadow their existing big money franchise with a new console release, assuming that the hardware is ready, and that there are any games for it anywhere close to ready to ship.
I could potentially see a 3rd/4th quarter 2013 XBox 720 release, but not before then.
I'd like to see the Vita do better. Blows me away that the new $500 (base price) iPad will sell millions launch day to people KNOWING they'll just have to buy a new one next year to keep up, and yet you still have people bitching that the $250 price tag on the Vita, which will be supported for 6-10 ideally, is too much.
All 3 current home consoles should be on the decline at this point, the technology is horribly old, and wasn't even that great when it launched,wh...
Lex Luthor. Goddammit he's evil!
I'll be 40 in December and I've been knee deep in Mass Effect 3 since it came out.
I'll probably be gaming until I either die or they stop making great games. Whichever comes first.
First 6-8 hours seem really lazy to me, but then it picked it picked up, and I'm hooked again. I'm about 13 hours in now, can't wait til I have more time to play.
Reviewers are the worst in general. This is the first real Vita game to take advantage of the platform IMO, a "bite sized" approach to the mission structure is only a good thing in this case, and I prefer a situation where there is no overarching story, because I want to be able to pick up my Vita, play this for 15-20 minutes at a clip, put it down and do other stuff.
This game is kind of everything that it needs to be for a handheld title. Reviewers need to realize...
NPD sales numbers are still based only on certain retail outlets like WalMart, where people walk into a store and buy something, right?
If that's the case, these numbers become more and more meaningless as time goes on. Solid numbers across the board for retail, but I would imagine actual numbers when you add in online sales would be much, much higher.
Never played a SOCOM game, but having played the demo of Unit 13, I pre-ordered it for Release Day Delivery from Amazon. Can't wait til it shows up today. I played through the level in the demo like a dozen times using the option to randomize the enemy placement, and had an awesome time.
Luigi is the most annoying game character ever, he's such a Mario fanboy.
