If the technology does live up to the price I don't see where the problem is. A DK2 was cheaper but far from an optimal experience.
Did you ignore the price of a PC/GPU on purpose?! Btw 300 for The headset is wishful thinking.
It's easy...if the experience is great enough people will pay whatever it costs!
Even the DK2 is nothing like the final version. Hence the high price.
I mostly game on PC since over 20 years but I always had an additional PlayStation console because Sony always delivered those special exclusives which were missing on my PC. Nintendo also has some unique IPs but the WiiU doesn't really seem like it has a future atm..Also my back log is already huge enough :)
They care for their fans and franchises, that's all. Those remasters just add to the lineup. Why would anyone complain?!
Enough...OR's target market always was the high end market and not some angry kids on N4G.
Could be they expected what Palmer Luckey himself proposed years ago already...an estimated target price of 350$.
Not saying that was realistic considering the current state of the tech, but there's that.
You will need to spend this additionally anyway.
You can stick that Euro price in your behind, sincerely...
I would love a remastered version. The game is still great fun today just 16:9 resolutions are a bit troublesome.
The first one is one of my all time favourites. Screw the haters, I'm beyond happy this is finally happening!
Tbh PlayStation and PC has always been the best combination.
I don't know...hasn't it always been like that?! Most XBox games have always been on PC.
Loved this game...was spectacular back then!
I agree essentially...yet, if they manage to release the must have experience/game with it people will pay ANYTHING for it.
The processor is no traditional APU. It is only used for upscaling purposes and for the additional output to a TV screen.
Absolutely insane numbers. Does anyone know how much PS2 sold in the same time frame?
Good game with great art style. Anyone interested in good adventure games should also check out The Book of Unwritten Tales 2!
That mobility advantage of the Vive...I don't really see that coming into play. Who on this planet will be able to dedicate a whole room to his new hobby?!
