I don't know about your last statement...there have been so many great games lately that are no generic shooters, but I am definitely looking forward to this game! I love unique gaming experiences.
Great news! Didn't know about that!
The Vive has two additional sensors...highly unlikely it will be cheaper imho.
Love this game and its Lynch like atmosphere and minimalist graphics style.
Definitely one of my most anticipated titles, together with GTSport, Driveclub and No Man's Sky.
Games where you are sitting in a cockpit are just predestined for VR!
Well said.
Yet most people who actually played it loved the game...same with The Order 1886.
I've played too many good games which got mediocre reviews in my life time...remember The Saboteur?!
Yeah..feels like we've been struggling for decades.
The market has always been the high end market. NVidia just recently stated VR needs up to 7 times more processing power than gaming at 1080p/30fps.
Would people have preferred to have a lower tech less sophisticated version?! I don't get these complains except for the fact Luckey simply shouldn't have come up with this 300-400 dollar prediction in the first place.
The Vive may be great...Its biggest advantage are its 3D scanners but I doubt this will have a big impact though. who has a whole room to dedicate for VR?! Also it's just another additional cost factor plus the controllers are less sophisticated.
There will be a huge resolution difference still..I definitely think Sony's biggest advantage is the uniformity of its hardware.
I really don't get the people complaining about the high price. If the technology is worth it. Those controllers alone are pretty amazing.
@Lennox
I see a 5 year old CPU and a 500 dollar card. How the F do you come up with 2-3 K?!
Looking great but somehow I prefer the more picturesque original lighting. If I ever get to finish this game this us a given for my second playthrough though.
Eh sorry. Cell phones cause brain damage because of radiation emitted. There is no such radiation with VR!
The danger is definitely addiction. My real world sucks...why even bother?!
Gran Turismo Sport. Driveclub. Dreams. Eve Valkyrie! Sold already
Horrible indie games...that's sarcasm, right?!
I agree...world building and characters and their relations are Ninja Theory's strong points...can't wait for this!
Enslaved was a great game as well...can't go wrong with Ninja Theory!
I really wish the game will be great, but I kinda share the author's concerns. What we've seen from the game until now looks just like a 3rd person shooter with a time warp mechanic that looks like it will grow old soon. I mean it already got in my nerves while watching that last trailer.
I really hope there is more to this game.
I find it kinda incredible that Valve leaves this story unfinished for so long, after this huge cliffhanger in Episode 2..especially with all the money they have today. I always expected HL3 will come out when the new consoles are released...if they can't make it happen soon, at least some signs of life, this will make me really angry. Just a pittyful fan service and disrespectful against the people that supported Valve in their early years imho.
Yet I somehow still won't give...
