Depends on the game really. I don't think simply watching it can truly tell you how it is to play the game..especially Bloodborne..or let's say The Last Of Us, which is nice to watch but no way near to experiencing it yourself.
I think LPs can be great advertising but also ruin the game or even spoil it for people who would otherwise have bought the game.
If the game is very story driven I usually only watch the LP if it is on a platform I don't p...
Pretty sure it was Spencer's new intern who released that rumor! ;)
They won't..they will probably come out with an upgraded version which can play 3layered 4KBluRays.. No way in Hell they are gonna release a console which is possible to fame at 4K without it costing 800min. Not gonna happen! Mist people don't have 4K TVs anyway!
Waiting for a comment from christcentricgamer.com
Did you even read the article?! You will have a choice his you want to play it!
That's exactly what makes Nate himself and the game so fun, his sarcasm and cynical comments. they woukd be stupid to turn it down. That said I'm pretty sure the game will get a darker tone all in all.
You are quite on a negative role today. What's up? Had a bad day? No Easter eggs?
TLOU stealth play was masterful.
Except for U3 which was around that mark the games were much longer, especially U2 which was 12-15 hours on harder difficulty.
The worldwide sales gap is steadily growing from 2:1 to 3:1 per week so I'm not sure if that's a good sign for MS.
I guess the game will split opinions. I'm sure a lot of people will love it but I myself stay sceptical. That first hours gameplay and those real time scenes didn't really ring my bell, as well as the characters and writing...it all comes down to the time mechanics. The shooter gameplay could get boring real quick but I heard the game will also feature some time mechanics for platforming puzzles ála Braid or Ratchet & Clank which sounds much more exciting!
I loved Max...
Even if the game fills up the entire screen the displayed area is only 960 by 1080p in 3D!
It is 1080p for both eyes which results in 960*1080p per eye and for cinema mode.
The Rift has only slightly higher resolution. This difference is far from huge.
I'm wondering why people are so excited about the cinematic made. Won't the resolution be much lower than on your TV even though it feels bigger?!
@GordonKnight
I'm sorry to correct you but you are misinformed. The PSVR, in contrary to the other two systems, is guaranteed to have no screen door effect at all. It uses a superior OLED screen with RGB subpixels per per pixel to prevent from having that problem at all.
You don't know to know about technology. The Cell is not faster, only in floating point calculations which has only limiteduse for games at all.
We already knew DX11.1 on X1 used many DX12 commands already and the informed always knew that DX12 secret sauce talk was nothing but marketing.
Again you are trying too hard to downplay the PSVR. Why are you forgetting the Rift's Touch controllers aren't even out yet and need to be factored in?!
So you're just desperately forgetting the fact the Oculus comes without VR controllers?! I guess understand your motivation.
There are games with boring mechanics but an interesting story..or they are on a platform I don't own or plan to own...these are games where I'm kinda happy someone plays them for me.
What is kinda difficult actually is finding someone who is a good player and not annoying as F!
