You're mistaken if you think with an upgraded console will suddenly make all games 60 FPS. It has never been like that. Soon developers will again favor higher detaiked graphics for frame rate. If you want 60 FPS all the time or even more...buy a PC!

I feel it was necessary in a sense that the old Souls games feel kinda slow and clunky after playing Bloodborne so they had to up the ante.
I'm not saying Ubisoft are evil or liars or any of that childish sheet. I'm just saying that, if at all, only absolute high end PCs will be able to make the game look anywhere close to the reveal trailer..just like The Division.
Completely agreed...people are complaining about consoles being underpowered yet there aren't even PC games to rival U4, The Order or Driveclub right now.
Better optimisation of console hardware is a huge factor so are hugely dedicated and talented studios.
Consoles are underpowered...yet even now some of the best looking and playing games are on consoles, even late in the cycle. I say that as a huge PC gaming fan but everybody please stop being ignorant.
It looks great actually..the lighting looks fantastic and the art is uniquely amazing.

What you seem to forget is even if the consoles would be more powerful developers would sooner than later prefer higher fidelity to higher frame rates. It has always been like that! That's the beauty of PC gaming..not being restricted by that.
