I have a 60 gig PS3 and love it and can't wait for heavenly sword, lair, motorstorm, MGS, DMC4. These games are gonna demostrate what is truely capable on a PS3 and that will be just the begin. The main thing holding back the 360 is the DVD-9 format. the GPU in the 360 is more powerful then the one in the PS3. but thats it. The PS3 has the potential victory when it comes to Blu-Ray and the Cell CPU. The one unfournate thing i see is alot of developers are gonna spend alot time learning n...
but why are the prizes things that nobody really wants. how about extra controllers, a wi-fi adopter, somthing other then a shirt and fusion frenzy 2.
but sony did and it hurt sales and the final score the game got. I personally would've gave the game a 7.5, but sony started the whole "Halo killer" tag and thats the hype that surronded the game at a point where Halo was just to fresh and dominant for a game to even be labeled that was almost suicide since it didn't devliver that experince.
ports and multi-platform games are either gonna be even, sub-par, or just a tad above better on the PS3. The only time that games are gonna shine on the PS3 is when developers take their time and develop with the PS3 in mind. other then that the PS3 should really work on getting Exclusive content on their version of the each game. Since they have Blu-Ray developers can put more on to a disc without having to worry about compressing it later, this will truly be the one true benefit of havin...
you shouldn't be having sex!!
theres a PS2 version and i believe it also was released for the Gamecube.
but with any new OS there are always gonna be some sort of issues with things it can't do due some of the older software that users might already have installed on their machine. I don't just game on my rig, so I really don't want to upgrade and have some of my software not work cause am missing drivers that don't exist yet or worst yet my videocard failing. I have a nvidia 7800GT OC(overclocked) from BFG. and drivers for my card have been hard to find already i don't want to risk not having...
that this game can deliver a worth-while performance. With all the money invested, this game can very well mean the differnce between moving into 1st place and trying to find your way into second(for the PS3). This game doesn't need to be a halo killer it needs to be a game that can be played for a huge amount of time and a game that is Great enough to move a couple million units. If this game fails to do so it's gonna be considered a HUGE failure.
but why are they pushing Vista on us. that's so weak. I have a Pretty good Rig going that can run most games really well (doubt that it can run Crysis though) But never am I gonna Upgrade my OS just cause one game as of right now is telling i need to.
if you like the Movies like Saw & Hostle with a slighty better story Manhunt is it. Controls solid, Story pretty well written and acted, A.I. is pretty good even in it's default setting. You can find the orginal for about $8 used check it out well worth it if your a fan of the genre.
your right, and if these numbers are more accurate then what i have seen else where i apologize. The reason i call you bitter is I get the fact that you like the PS brand, but you sink to the level of some of the X-bots when you have nothing but a negative smear to say about anything MS realated. I in all honesty dont like their machine, there is nothing next-gen about it except for their GPU (which by the way is more Powerful then the one in the PS3). But there are games that are coming ...
What exactly are you talking about. The 360 is not beating the pace set buy the orignal Xbox but buy no means is it not selling well.
Plus the 360 is acutally making a profit already of $75 dollars per console sold. And why would they price cut their system around this holiday season when they are suppose to release HALO3. That alone will gather them at least 5 million consoles more sold at a profit. And check your numbers right now 360 has a 7.5 million user base in the states maybe...
it's is true that MS could just counter with a price reduction, but they just started to make a profit on their consoles (they never made a profit on their orignal Xbox) I really doubt that they want to start losing $25 per console again shortly after turing a profit. Sony at the same price point that the 360 is now could easily surpass MS on console brand name loyality alone. But @ $600 only the die-hard (myself included) PS3 fan wants one. And $400 makes the wait for potentail all that m...
are willing to spend $400 on a machine. And they lose more money on the 20 gig anyways. Production gets a little cheaper when you have a more focus assembly to begin with. The 20 gig PS3 for the most part is exactly the same machine as the 360. So why does it cost $100 more.
I know why (fact is i bought my 60 gig the day of launch) but the general public doesn't care. Their putting so much emphizes on Blu-Ray yet they are not doing anything to push it further, all they seem to be d...
just support some sort of feedback on your system and let other companies make money. If sony doesn't want to have a 1st party controller with feed back thats fine but at least leave the option open for companies and gamers who do.
It's suppose to improve the quality of PS2 and PS1 games played on the PS3 even further.
doesn't need to match the competetion anywhere but price. For six hundred bucks you get alot of machine. To make changes now to the machine after it has launch is to stupid to even ponder. If Sony really wants to make people happy, Drop the price of the machine.
Forget about the 20 gig system, just scrap it all together. and just focus on the 60 gig model and drop the price $200. Now when being compared to the 360, You get a bigger HDD, Wi-Fi, Memory card reader, Wireless motion se...
But if we had the choice one it would microsoft. This company knows how to make money(A basic Monopoly of the PC OS world and XBL). Sony makes it then takes a wild-risk and somtimes it pay-offs(PS1, PS2, PSP) and somtimes it doesn't(Beta-max, Mini-CD, UMD as a movie format). Outside of Blu-Ray which is the main thing their pushing they are also trying to push Cell. Now if Sony by some big grace can manage to claim the #1 spot this generation 2 billion dollars now is not gonna seem like a...
MS since it's start has never lost 4 billion doing anything. MS has pretty much a monolopy when it come to the PC market and have never lost 4 billion dollar doing anything. Now it doesn't speak much as sonys current losses, but sony as a company have always at some point been low and still manage to be a top of the world. Even though a 4 billion loss over 5 years is just launch money to MS, it was huge cause that from what i know has never happen to them.
There was a rumor that the knights of nine was suppose to be on the same disc wonder if it's still true? But if this game plays better then the versions that are already out then it's better then having a half-ass port at launch.
