Having good graphics doesn't mean an area can't look uninspired or generic. Most of that falls upon the shoulders of how good the level designer is.

Depends on the deal between Nintendo and Sega. Nintendo put a lot of money into the development of this game and I doubt they would let it slip that easy without sealing some kind of deal.
Also, Sega doesn't care about the series. They were going to let it die, so I doubt they would spend more money porting something that wasn't going to sell well. If I remember correctly, the first game didn't do so well.
The rights for Mass Effect were bought by another company.
Unless the same happens here, which I doubt because Bayonetta is not a game that sells, it's not happening.
1)Because some people trade in their old consoles and put that credit towards new ones.
2)It would also be good for people who didn't own a 360 last gen but are going with the X1 this gen. They might want to buy some older titles they didn't get to enjoy last gen.
3) Your 360 RROD'd and you have a pile of games for it. It wouldn't make sense to buy a new 360 so close to the end of the console's life.
But more people would be buying XboxOnes, so it balances out.

To the people who are only going to read the title of the article, Nintendo said that they aren't against fair use. They are just using Content ID to protect themselves against real cases of copy right infringement.
They do seem to be a little more strict about what crosses the line though.
I sold one of my PS4s for 800.
