@Rustynail, games with gold gives you nothing but terrible arcade games or games you could go out and buy for 2 bucks at your local GameStop. The deals on XBL aren't that great either.
Although I agree with you, Nintendo doesn't do any of that stuff.
Actually, there is no guarantee for that. Sega has had multiple moments where they almost went bankrupt.
One reason, hard ware includes handhelds, and that includes the 3DS.
The people who say Nintendo needs to just focus on hardware are forgetting that the 3DS is burning up sales charts and crushing any other handheld competition in sales.

I just noticed. Some of the launch games for the new generation of consoles, including Ryse, have a lower score on Metacritic than Alpha Protocol, a game that was named one of the worst games of last gen.

There is good change and bad change.
Bad change is when you change too much about the series and it's barely recognizable.
Good change is when you try to improve on things and makes changes in areas that reallyneed them. It's when you try to keep everything fresh while still retaining what people love about the series.
