There is nothing wrong with a pay2play model. In fact I will as far as to say that pay2play MMOs are betterin quality. It gives the developers more to work with, you have access to everything without hitting a wall, and you will constantly see bigger and better expansions as developers will work to make the game better rather than coming up with seasonal costumes for 5 bucks a piece. Look at WoW, massive expansions and it's fun.
However I can't defend a 60 dollar pric...

Specs have nothing to do with it. The generation is based on sequences. It's not based on when that company's first console was released, it's based on when the first console generation started. We are eight generations from the first console generation and that makes every console in this time frame a 8th gen console.

Nothing wrong with a subscription. Pay2play games usually have more content than F2P. WoW for example.
Where the line gets drawn is the 60 dollar initial price + the subscription. That is too much to ask for.
