But should it be brought down all the way to the lowest score possible like some other sites are doing?
A review at the Examiner gave it a 1/5. He didn't go in depth about gameplay, he didn't go in depth about AI, he didn't mention textures, nor did he mention anything else a review was supposed to mention.
In the comments of the article he even commented and said the gameplay was great and not bad in any way.
So if the length was the only...
Yep. Sega had a track record of two failed handhelds in a row, and three failed consoles. It was more than the Dreamcast that killed their stake in the console business.
I'm sure the DangekiPSAwards didn't call Hatsune Miku the best waifu ever. That's what I'm referring to.
You're list is terrible because there isn't enough Chie! You can't talk about good waifus and not list Chief from Persona! It's like an unwritten rule.
Well, Crossing Eden, that's what happens when you're a known troll.
I don't why you got disagrees. This isn't a review and he hardly even talks about the game itself.
Reviews are supposed to talk about things like game mechanics, AI, visuals, story, character development, and other things. He doesn't mention any of these things. If he gave it a 1/5 based on these things, I would have no problem withthe review. But this isn't and in depth review, this is some guy b*tching and whining like a teenage girl.
He didn't even talk about the gameplay or special ops missions? This isn't a review. I have no problem with the score he gave, but price and length alone should not make a game the lowest score possible.
He didn't talk about it's mechanics.
He didn't talk about the AI.
Was it buggy or glitchy?
How were the visuals?
These were the things I was expecting to read about when I opened this r...
So the price is what made this score so low? Then I have no problem with that. Someone tell this reviewer that game reviews should be about gameplay and quality.
@ Yazter
It tells me that Tomb Raider was a dying franchise that was quickly losing sales before it was rebooted, which it was. It doesn't surprise me that this one didn't sell as much as SE expected.
On another note: I'm glad to see Crystal Dynamics turned the IP around. Five years was too much of a wait though. This was once a yearly franchise .
Will it require XBLGold?
Listed where? I don't see it.
Why is it listed as "Grand Theft Auto V: Five"?
Nor is it listed on the main site, it's hidden away in the Power Up section. There is also not much of a description.
Why are there no games where you can play as crippled midget?! I want to play as a crippled midget!
I'm going to whine and complain until I get what I want!!
He is talking about the game. It's not like this is a completelyoff topic article and Kojima his talking about his childhood or something about that.
He is talking about the series and how he never expected it to be well received.
Super Mario Love Hotel
Yup, I was curious what all the fuss was about. I didn't come here to b*tch and moan like everyone else, I came here because I was curious what the actual difference in presentation was.
The article sparked my interest. So why not read it?
That doesn't mean that this issue bothers me though. As I stated before, I don't play Dark Souls for pretty visuals. I commented and left my thoughts on the issue. Is that a problem?
Eh. I don't care. I don't play Dark Souls for pretty visuals. And if you do, you're doing it wrong.
Surprised you didn't mention Night Trap. This game, along with Mortal Kombat and a few other, are the reason the ESRB rating system was implemented.
It's funny, Mortal Kombat was once one of the most controversial video games. But when the reboot came out, nobody cared. Not even Mortal Kombat surprises people anymore.
He doesn't have to sign a contract. He took their money and made a deal, he had an obligation to follow through with the deal or give them the refund as promised. Even without a contract, they could have brought him to court.
They have proof of the deal in the messages that were sent on Facebook. Deals don't have to be on paper or need a signature. All you need to do is prove that it was what both parties agreed to.
@ManiacMayhem
Superman returns was bad, just not as bad as Superman 64. The problem with Superman is that he is overpowered and it is hard to transfer all of that into an open world game without tuning it down a little. You don't want the game to be too easy and make the players too over powered, but you also don't want to Nerf the character.
I disagree that reviewers should factor in price. It is not a reviewers job to tell us whether or not it's worth our money. It's their job to tell us what the product offers us and tell us the good and the bad. WE decide whether or not it is worth our money, based on the things they tell us. A negative for a reviewer isn't always a negative for the reader.
And on the second point about length- Shouldn't they at least try to do most of what the game has to offe...
