Most of the time it is the developers choice and that's how they wanted it to be. You shouldn't have to "cater" to certain groups at a time. If the developer want it to happen, it will happen. If the developer doesn't feel like it's not necessary, it's not necessary. It's not done for the sake of being politically correct...
I agree that the casting for this is f'ed up, but the double standards thing isn't true. The Mandarin in Ironman 3 was played by a white man instead of a Chinese man. No hell was raised, like you claim there would be.
Matter of fact, there seems to be more rage about this casting than the casting of the Mandarin in IronMan.

This is just a rumor, it could be sooner than this. These GTA V PC release date rumors are never correct. There was a couple of them that suggested late last year, and a couple of more that suggested early this year. Just wait for R* to announce it and take this with a grain of salt.
If it does release on PC, I might buy it again.

4 million + in North America is a small number. We're talking consoles here. Most AAA games don't go over 5 million sold, and that was with the large install base that last gen consoles had.

Why would they stop focusing on last gen so soon? People are not going to switch gen so easily. My PS3 gets more use than my PS4 because next gen is pretty barren on games I like; and that is most likely the case with the majority of people who still game on last gen systems. It's not really that much of a cash grab. Shaq himself is putting a lot of money into this project and will reward anyone who helps fund it. He is also donating some of the profits.
Plus, it's a different studio that's making this game. That alone is a good reason to give it a chance. Why judge this game by the work of this studio because of what a different studio did 20 years ago?
Did you read the article? They are talking about the ending and some of the subjects that the game brings up. Kojima said that the "gross" and "painful" ending was necessary and more games need to push the envelope with these things.

That would be the dumbest idea ever. Forget the fact that Nintendo putting games on mobile devices is dumb.
It's dumb for a number of different reasons. First, Apple would never make a deal for only 10%. Second, why would they make it exclusive to Apple platforms? The number of Android users are growing at a faster rate than users of Apple devices. Soon, Apple's share in the market will be close to nothing.
