Well it's the truth live service games can be a flavor of the month, not even be a blip on the radar, could be a very popular game, a pile of shit, revenue generating, or lose your shirt, or my favorite lock everything behind a pay wall. The key there is Robin Williams is actually a great actor and knew how to act even though he is gone. He is a great comedian plus he has also made a good villain at times as well. He was a great villain in Law and Order, One Hour Photo, and Insomnia. The Rock will never be as good of an actor as Robin Williams, Kevin Hart is just annoying, Jack Black I find annoying as well now I don't mind him in Kung Fu Panda.
From the trailers I have seen the fact they are missing two characters and Tiny Tina doesn't look as bat shit nuts as she is in the games. I am not going to waste money to go watch the movie. Roland is too short, Lilith is well too old, and again I don't think Tiny Tina will be as bat shit nuts. And quite honest I don't think I would even buy the blu ray. The movie looks like it was quickly thrown together and pushed out the door to build hype for Borderlands 4.
Well the flak is called for this guy is buying expensive cars because he got a big bonus. And he is playing the sob poor me card because he is laying people off. Shit happens look at when Nintendo pulled the plug for the Wii U, Wii, and various handhelds from accessing the online store. It costs money to keep those stores up and running and sad to say it will happen to the PS3 as well. The thing I hate is that games from the older consoles store don't appear on the store front with the newer consoles.

This debate yet again of digital vs physical I swear every month there is an article spewing the same stuff. We all ready seen what happens when someone decides to go all digital over physical. Just look at how Allen Wake 2 preformed. Now they have to release the game physically with Allan Wake 1 just to recoup their losses.
I'll watch the game being streamed and base a decision off of that. I myself I am not a big Star Wars fan.
If I collected controllers I would go for it. But I don't collect controllers I'd be curious if there was a limited edition PS5 which I doubt will happen. Just looking at art on the controller I get that retro Atari 2600 vibe to it.
I sort of remember Game Informer. I just usually stuck around EGM, Gamepro, OPM, the Dreamcast magazine. Always loved the free demo discs. One magazine I wish I read when I was a kid was Nintendo Power but I wasn't lucky to have an NES as a kid. And Sega didn't have a magazine dedicated to the SMS. And when I got an SNES I thought hey now I can get Nintendo Power but sure to shit the small town I grew up in never got the magazine at the gas station or the corner store. How times goes ...
