The day physical disappears I will just stick to retro. My rule for a game is no physical disc I don't buy it that's why I am not grabbing Allan Wake 2.
FF9 is a decent entry not one my favorites but there are fans of the game which is great. I'd rather see Square remake Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, Chrono Cross. Or even break down one of the older FF entries and remake the older titles depending how FF7 part 3 does. I played a bit of FF6 on the SNES but as soon as Chrono Trigger came out I just moved over to that title. If Square broke down and remade FF6 I would grab it.
A positive grade not going to happen most of the games are years away. Microsoft has no idea how to run the Xbox brand. A game like Wukong got pushed back because of the Series S and optimization basically the Series S screwed over Series X owners again. The showcase may have been good but as for a grade I would say a C- at most.
Isn't that how it always works? A Ceo, chairman or some group of higher ups fire people then get a giant fat ass pay raise or a big bonus. I am glad to see the PS3 get some love. I just hope and wonder if Sony will add PSP and Vita to that list as well.
You won't hear anything about Microsoft and the Series S. They think they did the right thing releasing the Series S. Again I can understand price point but having to nerf a game to run on the machine is a waste of time and effort. I don't see the Series S being hard to develop for. Again I think it comes down to a game that is suppose to run great on the Series X then have to dummy the game down to run on the S that is the overall issue. I agree with Chrono Trigger and Dino Crisis. Xenogears, Parasite Eve, FF8, Chrono Cross, Shinobi, hell even L4D and L4D2 I want a true sequel two those great games. But the list can go on with games that need a remake.
It never made sense not sure what Microsoft was thinking when they launched it. I can understand affordability but nerfing games just run on the machine waste of time and effort. Microsoft should have gone same machine same specs only difference is one has a disc driver the other doesn't.
Well duh a developer makes more money selling the game. Then what Microsoft shells out for the game to appear day one on Gamepass. And quite honestly as a developer if I am not going to make money on a platform then I would by pass that platform as well. But like I said is this going to be a sign of other developers bypassing the Xbox unless its a really big title.
Price and that fact it can't play PS4 games is the reason why I'm not getting PSVR2
This is Microsoft they don't even know what they are doing. One day its one thing the next day its a different thing.
And this shows why Capcom is bypassing the Xbox with Marvel vs Capcom. Microsoft better get their head out of their ass and figure out how to fix this problem and how they want to go on with XBox as a brand. Xbox is well when the next gen systems come out I highly doubt I will get the next gen Xbox.
You want to kill a party fast just invite Nintendo. But we are talking about a company who took down pictures of a strategy guide that has never appeared in the west. You don't see Square taking down music or sheet music to Aerith's theme, Tifa's theme, June Mermaid. Memorable tunes stick with fans to great games. Nintendo games have fans that have been routed since the NES. People have Youtube vids showing how to play Zelda's lullaby on piano, violin or my favorite the harp. ...
If Capcom can't turn a profit on it I don't blame them for skipping the Xbox. But I wonder if this is a sign that other companies might slowly start bypassing the XBox unless its a big title game. Xbox has been going down hill after the 360 and Microsoft can't figure out wtf they are doing with the Xbox brand.

Well Embracer is ran by a bunch of morons who burn through money like there's no tomorrow. From what I saw on streams the game didn't look that bad and actually looked interesting. I didn't know it was based off of some old computer games. I am going to grab it next time I am in Gamestop. Embracer shutting down the studio I am not surprised. I am grabbing Lollipop Chainsaw its one of my favorite titles. I really hope this game gets a sequel.
I never played the first game but I enjoyed Epic Mickey 2 wish they were also porting the second game.
