Bet Phil is going to get a big fat bonus for this move. That's how it always works the higher ups always get a bonus all while laying off and screwing over the common worker.
It will sell collectors will snag it up. And people will buy it people are interested in the newest and latest technology, Look at all those people who line up to buy an iphone that looks the same as last years model. People have to have that latest and newest piece of technology.
$1000 Canadian no disc drive $100 for the disc drive if I can find it. I'll pass I didn't even get a PS4 pro when that came out. I'll stick to my PS5 slim it does what I ask it to do and that's play games.
Even with out the disc drive after taxes the PS5 Pro is $1000+ Canadian add in the disc drive which is $100 plus taxes Canadian. At $1100 Canadian I am tapping out I just upgraded my PS5 to a slim last year so I'm good now.
Pretty much the lay of the land. The commoners who keep the company running day to day, day in day out, get laid off and screwed. And the CEO, chairmen, higher ups get a bonus. Companies do that all the time no matter who the company is whether GM, Apple, John Deere, Samsung, Ford just as examples. The higher ups don't care about the commoner who works for them. All they see the commoner is a replaceable number at the job. And this guy is an asshole.
I upgraded to the PS5 slim this year at $1000 Canadian plus an extra $100 for the disc drive I am just going to save my money for the Switch 2. I just can't justify a PS5 pro I just bought a new car which I need more to go to work then a PS5 pro.
I'll stick to my old PS5 not at $1000 Canadian.
I rarely buy DLC I want the Tales of Arise DLC but that alone is $40 Canadian. Buying costumes, gun skins, added vehicles, just isn't worth it. Only DLC I like is if it's extra missions but with that you're lucky if its worth the price and longer then an hour of Gameplay.
Just another reason for physical I can import the game and play it the machine is not region locked with discs.

XB1 can play certain OG Xbox games Microsoft did release that feature.
Problem I had that was pissing me off is you needed certain copies of the game over other copies. I was excited I was going to play Fable from the OG Xbox on my XB1 I bought the game off Ebay. Here I needed the anniversary edition of the game to get it to work on my XB1.
It will be a long time before it does or if it even appears on an Xbox. No one knows how long Sony has the trilogy locked as an exclusive.
I would be curious how a Lego Uncharted game would be like.

Wish my parents bought me a NES as a kid I would have played the first FF game. But I was lucky to have a SNES I played a bit of FF6 and just went to Chrono Trigger. When the FF collection releases I-VI Collection Anniversary drops I will take my time to play each Final Fantasy.
Why should he sell his collection? It's his collection if he wants to sell then that is his decision maybe he wants to save it as a nest egg or pass it down to his kids. That's like asking the AVGN to sell his giant collection plus the Nintoaster. Or like asking Jay Leno to sell his car collection. Collectors like to brag, show off, and explain the history or the rarity. Be lucky Mr. Ex Predisent even gave you a glimpse of his collection.
I miss the old paper manuals great art work, sometimes included a story to the game, character bios. Hell I even miss the old Atari cartridges with their art work. When I was a kid my cousins had a 2600 and I always thought the artwork looked great on the cartridges. I'll have to check out this game once done with Wukong and Visions of Mana and yes I will be buying the physical copy. I only go digital if I have to I believe in collecting a game and if it sucks I can trade it in.
Concord failed because it entered a market where that type of game style is over saturated. Games either make it or crash hard and Concord crashed hard.

You need to convince people first on why you're the better competition first. Then you have to prove why people should go out of their way to buy your product. Microsoft sorry to say has yet to prove that now. What they buy up Zenimax and Activision big whoop. Ever since the XB1 came out Xbox has been on a decline.
