No one cares Capcom and I hope nobody buys your action thriller game with Zombies who can drive cars, bikes and planes while aiming at you with a sniper rifle.
@Chirs - Your missing my point...those games that you mentioned are all good for you and me but to the casual mainstream consumer those game do not interest them or do not even excise where everybody and there grandma knows who Mario and Pokemon are.
The price is worth every penny becuase of the more powerful hardware but casuals consumers do not see it that way - they see 2 hand helds and they will buy the cheaper one, they do not care about specs.
Sure the WiiU specs will probably be crap compared to the PS4 and 720 but it will be more than likely more powerful than the 360 and PS3 and Ninty is going to make sure that RAM is one key factors on there specs.
Even if the Wii U is not powerful it will still sell millions off the mare fact that it will be a new console and people are starving for something new...look at the kick starter for Ouya and how much people showed interest not for the specs but becuase its something...

I remember reading about the leak design like it was last year.
Nintendo WiiU numbers are going to be insane for this same reason that Sony and MS are downplaying the need of a next gen console in order to milk the PS3 and 360 till it can not milk any more - sure Kaz ignore the fact that the PS3 and 360 both are limiting games because of lack of RAM and ignore that fact that the games in the last 3 years have only been eye candy and no innovation in terms of game play.
Sony and MS will be eating there words when they see the $$$$$$$$ that...
Do not think the Holiday would do much help unless Sony tackles the main issues which is the price and games.
Price for me is fine but when a soccer mom goes into a game store and see that the 3DS is cheaper she will pick that up as a xmas gift for kids.
Games are ok and more are coming but Sony needs games that are synonymous with the VITA like how the NIntendo has Professor Layton and Pokemon.

Well from what we have seen so far they have added a slot where you slide to the right and put in your game which does not do any harm to us gamers.
One thing I dont understand is that when you redesign your product it takes alot of money becuse you have to reshape everything and production has to restart - the PS3 slim has only been out for 1 year and Sony is planning to do another redesign which mean more money and starting over...I am surprised Sony can afford to this bei...
I dread the day that the rights to own a physical game is dead - I want to be able to lend my games to my friends and family and I want to be able to resell it when I am done with it.
I dont want a game from a service where I have to agree on there terms and when I purchase my games they can tell me what to do with it.
Have to agree after seeing what is happening with OnLive I think its more than clear that this world is not ready fro cloud gaming and wont be ready until maybe another 10 years when 90% of the world has cheap fiber optic internet.
Hopefully Sony is smarter than to try and push cloud gaming 100%next gen - I think Gaikai is more of a back up plan for Sony because of the MS leaked documents where MS is planing to build an ego system around the 720.

@EDIMAX - I dont think space is the reason why GTA4 sucked because if it was that then all R* would have had to do is release the 360 version on 2 disk and space problem solved.
Also Just Cause 2 showed that u can have a huge world on one disk with lots of other things included that were missing from GTA 4.
Another thing is that GTA 5 from the little that we have seen so far is mustering up to San Andres and bring back the mountain exploring and planes - GTA ...
@run bare - I would like that too becuase this would give Bioware more freedom and time to work on a game but the reality is that AAA games cost million of $ to make and Bioware even if they did find the money to buy them selfs back would not be able to afford to publish a AAA game.
@ Darren - at least someone feels my frustration and I too did not complete GTA 4 because apart from everything I mentioned that felt lame the game missions were too repetitive.
Nikko was likeable but felt more like a messenger boy than a BOSS...maybe that changes later on in the game and Nikko tells all his friends and annoying causing to go...them selfs and call a cab.

Played DS 2 and its more of the same from part one which is not bad but really disappointed that the developers gave us a DS 1.5 instead of DS2.
Agreed! R* knew they screwed over the GTA San Andres fans by giving us that piece of cr@p that is GTA 4 that had more restrictions than the JFK airport.
I mean how do you go from driving tanks, jet packs, planes and having a huge map to being restricted to a certain area of a tiny map until your pass a mission.
For those people who disagree you have to be blind to not see that GTA 4 was not on par with the other GTA games specially San Andres.

How does this work anyways? does Sony have to offer 3rd party publishers money to use some characters or do they get them for free since its free marketing to some degree.
I think EA should sell all of the studios they bought individually and just focus on the sports and casual market.
If this does happen I hope MS buys Bioware or Bioware buys back them self but get MS to publish there games.
They had a good relationship with MS and Mass Effect one was BOSS compared to 2 and 3.
