I wonder if he is talking about open world feel like Halo or open world feel like Splinter Cell Conviction.
I like the fact that you click down on the left thumb stick to do any activity instead of going into a menu and looking for a mission.

Thsi was pretty much confirmed from along time ago when Kojima was showing off the Fox Engine and he grabbed the 360 controller instead of the PS3 to play a demo.
Plus Konami also stated that going forward all games will now be multiplat.
Unless Sony can give Konami a huge check for exclusivity which is not Sony's style then this game is pretty much a multi-plat - does not make sense business wise to release MGS on one platform and make a few millions...
A Sony vaio laptop can not run Crises 2 on full settings lol.

@Sevir - So whats wrong about him being passionate about this game.
Maybe he is a die hard Playstation fan who grew up on the PS1,PS2 and PS3 and to play this game was one of the things he always wanted.
Last I heard that this game is a fan service game and not some marketing tool - if this is the case then why not put charters that the trie PS fans from day 1 want and not some characters that do not symbolize what the PLaystation is about.

As much as I want snake he wont be in it. Nintendo paid Konami to have snake exclusively on Smash Bros.
Even if Konami wanted they cant because Ninty has a legal contract for Snake.

True but who the hell wants a Wii at this point? The Wii U is coming out soon so everyone is holding off - PS3 on the other hand is still a hot commodity and people still want one and no PS4 has been announced - I have a PS3 fat and if I had the money I would buy a slim over the VITA anyday.

@Darkstar - I think you and some other people did not like the game because of the rap gangster theme which does not appeal to everyone. The game is praised because of the technical marvel it was at the time - San Andreas was 60% more larger in map and had more vehicles and transportation than the other GTA games.
Yes the other Mafia GTA theme games had better stories and characters but they were no where close to the technical power that was GTA San Andreas.
Have to agree...Its felt diffrent in a bad way but I expected that since Remedy was not the developer - its like Sony giving Uncharted to Media Molecules just would not feel the same.
IF anyhting Alan Wake felt more like Max Payne.
From the little bits of info and pics that we got so far I think it almost safe to say that R* learned there leasson and are going back to the San Andreas type of game.
Before GTA 4 got released R* stated that they wanted to move away from San Andreas and make the GTA series more serius but I think majority of GTA fans were not pleased with the direction 4 was taken so they are going back to the old formula which was fun, exloration, customization and a we do not give a dam...
If those two games are annouced that would blow E3 out of the water.
E3 was meh and TBH I wont get excited anymore for it since the last 3 years have been boring.
Have to agree - this way you get less spoilers and when you play the game you get more of a wow and surprised factor.
I remember that Red Dead Redemption got announce out of no where and got release 1 year after announcement and when I played it was the best experience I had in a long time.
I hate it when games are announced 3 years or more before release and I have to wait so long and between the wait you get shown half of the game.

Its almost guaranteed that BC will be on the PS4 since Sony purchased Gaikai but instead of having the BC eat up resources on the PS4 hardware it will cloud based BC...which I dont mind as long as your not forced to have to connect to the internet or have some sort of Gaikai account.
While I agree that BC is a good selling point for the PS4 I think the main thing that will determine the PS4 launch success is the price - anything above $400 would not be good for Sony.
Sounds like a good idea on paper but would be hard to pull off in real life for the following reasons:
1 Price -Sony is going to try not to make the seem mistake they made with the PS3 and try to launch the PS4 at the $399 range - adding the touch pad to the back of the controller would make the system more expensive.
2 They would have to implement some kind of function for the touch pad where you press a certain button in order to use it - if not the cross h...
I think at this point Bethesda just wants PS3 owners to forget that this DLC even excited.
I understand that the PS3 is a different beast to program than the 360 and PC but come on man you made like 3 other games for the PS3 already...at this point you would think they would have mastered the PS3 like how Valve did with Portal.
I think Skyrim made so much money on the game alone that they dont care if the loose some sales from the PS3 fanbase.

In gaming development school they should show those 2 games as examples of how not to make a game.
Someone has not played Just Cause 2, Skyrim, Sleeping Dog or Fall Out Vegas.
This is a new engine which means that it will use less resource and still be more powerful than the MGS4 engine - also the MGS4 engine was specificity made for the PS3 which at the time the Cell was alien technology and developers were still trying to learn it.
Also please give me a link where Kojima confirms that this will be a current gen release? This game can come out 2 to 3 year...
