As a parent & gamer i have developed my routine after my son was about 1 year old. I never game until my son is asleep at 9:00pm. I have a 24" tv i set up on a tv tray i put in front of my recliner, my wife sits next to me & watches whatever she wants on tv while i game. I have wireless headphones & have one ear uncovered so we can talk & be right next to eachother both getting our own preference of entertainment. One of the best decisions ive ever made!
i sold my regular copy about two years ago for $90 or so, i cant remember the exact ammount.
i used it pretty frequently in the beggining as the game went i on used less & less. Also in the beggining i was like full stealth mode towards the end i said fuck it just kill everyone!
I was all set for ps4 launch day, after some unforeseen life complications I will have to wait a year or two but it will still be a ps4 at that time!
i have both a ps3 & a 360 since this whole xbox one reveal ill be quite honest i have wanted to touch my 360 less & less. Todays tower defense game instead of the halo or ac2 really puts me off even more!
Seems to me like they should be giving away Gears 1 sure most people have already played it, but for the ones who haven't they would want to go buy 2 & 3 which is win win for microsoft. Seems like a no brainer to me!
i did the same thing. For people saying you cant Microsoft had a $1.00 for 1 month special last week.
For the record i rent all my games. Gamefly i have used for the last 3 years & have played 207 games this gen costs me $25 per month. Games cost me around $5.50 per game.
As someone who has never gotten the chance to play this series if they released a Half Life Collection remastered for current gen i would be all over this!

Ive been saying it for a whlie now if the next nexus 7 comes with an hdmi out option all these ouya & similar type products should disapear rather quickly. A tablet with native controller support, with hdmi output, & a seperate charger port is an oyua but can also be used as a tablet. There have been many of times i wish i could do this.
Well with drm squashed for both consoles i no longer have to worry about gamefly that was my real concern anyways!
15-20 really means 10-15 main story this is normal for assassins creed games. But if they are talking all side quests & optional missions then they are really hiding a lot behind the dlc wall
current gen i went ps3 then after a few years xbox 360, next gen i might go the same route.

One thing not really mentioned is also price point. I know A LOT of people who went with the 360 because it was cheaper at launch. With the ps4 not having a kinect they should be able in theroy be able to offer a cheaper system. my stupid ass decided to wait until 10 minutes left to buy the half life set at 75% off. There were so many people refreshing the page for the sale that i couldnt get the damn set in my shopping cart it kept erroring out & i didnt get the sale now its only 50% off instead of 75% fml
