There was issues for me as well. Mainly when effects were on screen, especially the fire from the thrusters. My game froze there for a few frames, must have been like 5 fps. Sad really, because I was looking forward to this one.
Well, the PlayStation 3 has always had a history of performance issues with the Unreal 3 engine. Seems like Epic just doesn't want to get it on par with the Xbox 360 build.
ICO was amazing on the PS2, especially the visuals for its time. I just felt they pushed the little PS2 too hard on Shadow of the Colossus, the game tended to slow down a lot. Looking forward to playing that one again with a steady frame rate.
If the comment on their site is legit:
"The embargo for Halo: Reach will not be lifted until September 11th, you would know this if you received our game from us to review. I'm going to ask nicely that you remove your review from this site until the embargo is lifted or I will have to contact our legal team and submit a cease and desist."
Checked this out on Tuesday. Wow, blatant Gear of War rip. Other than tossing in the chick to help out it is unoriginal.
Wow! $7 for a one hour dlc? No thanks, I'll wait for Dragon Age 2 for my fix.
Being a Spider-Man fan it looks like they did the characters and worlds justice. The screenshot of the Electro boss battle looks great!
I must say that after playing the demo it really left a bad taste in my mouth. The production values were quite low in my opinion and other then making weapon combos, nothing felt innovative. I am going to have to wait and see on the full Dead Rising 2 experience.
Man, I am pumped for this game! Why couldn't it be released BEFORE Labor Day?!? I could e playing this all day long. Sigh.
I would have to agree, this is like " Gears of War on ice." I love the boost in this game.
I guess you have Micro$oft to thank for that.
I just heard that the demo was delayed in Europe on the 360. Well, it is worth the wait, the game is sick.
I agree, Team Ninja did a great job injecting some backstory into the franchise and characters. Picking mine up at lunch!
No, the original Worms on the 360/PS3 had very limited selections of weapons. This game is pretty much Worms 2: Armageddon on the consoles. That version is worth picking up.
I have been a huge fan of this series for years and I am glad it is back on the PC. Going to be buying this one over the weekend.
Actually, this is a known bug on the 360 and the devs are looking into it. So expect a patch soon.
Reviews that I have read indicate the game is around 5 hours long, depending on how good you are. Not too bad for a DL.
Never say never. I am really hoping that Sony starts to port some of their more popular PSP games to the PSN Store. I would love to play this on my PS3 with upresed graphics.
I am interested in the online multiplayer mostly and many of my friends are picking it up on the ps3. So I am going to hold off and just play the demo on my 360 for now.
And Scott Pilgrim vs The World. One of the most fun games I have played this year.
