Midway through the broadcast the viewers asked them to switch over to motion controls to give their impressions on how good/bad they where. The game player used the motion controls for only like 10 minutes then switched back to the classic controller. hehe.
I have played it with both the motion controls and the classic controller. Classic controller all the way!
I am impressed however that the game wasn't just a simple reskin of the old N64 game, but rather a fresh take on the storyline and locations. Actually a decent FPS for the Wii!
Why would anyone disagree with that fact? haha. I love N4G.
Xbox 360 version looks slightly sharper in resolution and textures. Not to shabby of a port!
Tell me about it. Gonna be playing it during every "break" at work.
Other than a few varying reflections and some slight contrast differences, it is almost a perfect cross platform game. Good job Criterion!
I agree, they should have just made it for PSN/XBLA. Not sure how well a $50 rehash of a 90's arcade game will do in the marketplace.
Agreed, the last outing on the consoles were rather choppy.
What kills me is that they had 5 or so Sonic games to reference when making this game. There is no excuse for not matching the originals control.
Wow, that must have been a production nightmare. All of those models that would need to be exported to two different engines and ensure they visually look the same. Kudos to them!
hmm...so you are telling me the use a slightly different engine for multiplayer to campaign? I have never heard a company do that before. Interesting.
Good stuff! I love when developers do this. Now all we need is a cardboard box!
Digital Domain is opening a facility in Port St. Lucie, FL in 2011 and are planning on getting into the gaming and simulation fields. Here's keeping my fingers crossed. The west coast is looking better and better for my field...
What sucks is now the only game studio left in Central Flordia is EA/Tiburon. And there is no stability there. There is a reason they have revolving doors...
Still on the fence for this game. I didn't care for Case Zero. But I do love me some zombie games...maybe when it is used and around $40.
A power pellet? I kid, I kid!
Same here, they are very well produced. But there seems to be a lack of interest in these kind of videos on N4G. Maybe they need more boobs in order to gain viewers.
Looks a lot more polished than Case Zero. I might actually have to rent this one.
Screwattack does daily news recaps but I usually forget to watch them. I'll give the weekly one a go.
They aren't that bad...I am wondering what happened to the window on the PS3 in the first picture. It's all black. hmmm.
