Want the nay sayers to be impressed? Do a demo with 1000 people playing games on "THE CLOUD" all at once.
Another *butthurt* fanboy trying to justify and spin another idiotic decision by Microsoft.
The problem with this article is simple: It fails to take into account that there is no demand for the Kinect at all. No one wanted it with the 360 so why in the hell did Microsoft try to push it again? Ridiculous article.
"Are these details really that hard to grasp? Gaming journalism is the biggest sham of the word 'journalism' I have ever encountered."
Agreed. The reviews of games are especially tainted with nonsense and bias. Instead of reviewing the overall structure and content of a game, some reviewers give games positive reviews just so they can get advertising dollars. It's shameful.
I read somewhere that the content/story of the game is actually only about 30 minutes.
That's right. I hate Microsoft because they bully people into buying their products. What ever happened to the basic business model of providing a product or service and convincing people to buy your products/service based on the QUALITY of those products/services? The pay or you can't use it at all policy is one of the reasons why Xbox1 is in the situation it's in; 5 million units shipped to retailers and 4 million units sitting on store shelves. Nothing against xbox one owners, ...
Hmmm... Gaming based on what if's and shoulda, woulda, coulda... Seems feasible to me... *Sarcastic smirk* SMH
;o
I'm looking for some more "special sauce" with a side of "fairy dust."
What the hell is going on with Dying Light?
Indie games on GwG is an idea. But Microsoft isn't the sort that'll give you much. If they can find a way to make you pay for something that's supposed to be included with your Live membership, they will.
Halo 3 - $8.70 - 7 years old
Assassin's Creed 2 - $8.49 - 5 years old
Wow what a bargain.
Outlast was a top selling PC game and less than a year old when it came to playstation plus for FREE.
I like games like Dark Souls. I enjoyed infamous, but it was too easy.
Great idea!!! Use the voice actors from DC universe if using computer generated animations. You may not even need VR, even using an "over the shoulder viewpoint" might work with a new superman game.
Outlast and Don't Starve are great. Don't forget Bound By Flame is an Indie and it's on Xb1 too.
Agreed. Xbox one isn't going to have strategy, puzzle, or RPG games like FF14. All they're going to have is the same shooter/racing/multiplayer shooter crap that they've had on 360. Can anyone name one NOTABLE RPG that's available on 360 or xb1? I can't.
The guy has issues. He's upset because the Xbox one is catching so much flack and isn't doing so well. Why is he trying to blame people for rebelling against Microsoft? Microsoft made it's bed with it's business practices, now Microsoft can lay in it. A previous poster put it like this SEVIR: "dense butthurt fanboys trolling," and that's exactly what they are, butthurt, fanboys.
Microsoft is trying to repair their image by trying to convince people that there isn't a difference between units shipped and units sold? HaHa! That was a good one...
Over the past few years have you ever known Microsoft to be up front about anything? Your job, our job, is to sift through the hype and rainbows to find the truth. Corporations are notorious for lying to people in order to make a buck.
I don't think they understand that there is actually a difference between 5 million shipped and 5 million sold.
Why all the hoopla over a port? No one is being forced to buy any of these games. If there was no demand for a game to be ported to the ps4, no one would do it. I agree that those who have the digital download should have the upgrade option for 10 to 20 bucks, as for everyone else, if you think the game costs too much, DON'T BUY IT. MGS sure as hell ain't worth 30 to 40 dollars, so I didn't buy it. It's just that simple. Exercise your right to choose and stop whining.
