Same here. I've had this game on pre-order since March. This is definitely on my must have list for the year.
No surprise here. With all the talk of clouds and secret sauce who has time to send a tweet to a developer interested in making a game for your system? Seriously, is anyone surprised at all?
If graphics didn't matter no one would be buying 4th generation playstation machines and 3rd generation xbox machines. Graphics do matter. On the hand, that doesn't mean a game with less than stellar graphics will be a terrible game. Killzone has wonderful visuals, but the gameplay SUCKS CHUNKY NUGGETS...
Outlast is another example. Okay graphics. Amazing gameplay mechanics.
Child of light is made by an independent developer and published by Ubisoft.

Kinect = a gimmicky thing that no one wants to pay a hundred bucks for.
Try no ammo and in order to get 3 more bullets, you'll have to solve a puzzle or elude an enemy. Get rid of health packs. Taking away hope is part of instilling fear and tension in the game.

Sony and other developers made the right choice to delay games that had problems. I'd rather play a great game later than a crappy, broken game now.

Stop the pick up a gun, find some bullets, kill some monsters repetitive nonsense. Get back to the nuts and bolts of the games that made Resident Evil successful in the first place. Guns aren't the only way to stop an enemy from killing you. Variety is the spice of life. Give the players choices and let the player evaluate the level of danger they're facing.
