It should be 2 bucks to rent for 3 days and 5 for 7 days. 8 to 10 bucks to buy, depending on how old the game is.
I agree. People who are looking for hits on their websites aren't journalists.
If a game is on last gen and current gen systems it will have downgraded graphics so that the game will operate on last gen consoles. Get over it.
Made up controversy, by hacks calling themselves journalists.
Exactly.
PS4 owners don't even care because they already know that the Xbox One won't even outsell milk in Japan.
The only people who will make this an issue are people like you.
I don't think Bungie give two rats asses about who likes them or hates them. Self-important, arrogant, wannabe in the know, jackasses who are borderline paranoid schizophrenics, thinking that some game development company hates you. Morons.
A poll on facebook is silly. The population of the United States tends to be heavily populated along coastal areas as opposed to the center and midwest. It's apparent that not too many people even participated in this poll. Why would anyone even try to give this nonsense any credibility?
All this article proves is that more Xbox One owners are on facebook than PS4 owners.
If Microsoft doesn't require launch parity, why are there "timed" exclusives? Why don't these temporary exclusives release simultaneously on both the PS4 and the Xbox One? Sony doesn't have any requirements for developers to release on the PS4 first and doesn't punish developers for releasing on the Xbox One first. I'm sure that indie developers would love to release their games on both systems at the same time. And anyone with any common sense knows that there i...
@Will Microsoft Buy Capcom?
Nope
First of all why would anyone pre-order a "DIGITAL" game when you can pre-order a physical copy which you can sell, trade, or give away. When you pre-order a digital game the "Playstation Store warns you before you complete the purchase that there are no refunds." Maybe now those who are whining will get out of the house, get some sunshine, and go buy a physical copy of the game from now on.
Stop whining, stop being lazy, go to an actual store and stop buying digital games.
There's a link in the article that leads to a statement that Chieh Chen says that you will be able to pre-load the game several days before it's released, but the article states that the link contains a statement claiming that Chen said pre-loading won't be available for TLOU. So which one is it?
here's the "comment" link from the article.

My poop is an insider and it told me that Sony is going to release several updates to the PS4. Just like the insider mentioned in this article, my poop has no idea what those updates are or when they'll be released, but it's going to happen before 2014 ends. o__o
Never knew Sony's momentum had slowed or even stopped.
The Division and No Man's Sky are the only games on that list i'm itching to play. The Order looks interesting, but i'm not itching to play it.
I don't think people are saying graphics don't matter. What people are saying is that gameplay is more important than graphics and that graphics are not at the top of the list of "must haves" in a video game. Most people would rather play a game with superb gameplay and average graphics, (Outlast) than play a repetitive bag of hack & slash poo with turd worthy gameplay and amazing visuals. (yes i'm talking about Ryse)
@Morganfell
"That pricing is ridiculous. Think about it. You want to rent a game that may still cost $49 to $59 that may have 15 hours of play time in it for $2. Sony cannot possibly pay a fair amount to publishers for that cost. Not happening. People are being ridiculous if they think they should be able to rent all titles for next to nothing. There has to be a tiered system not only for length of rental but also for the game itself based on current retail value."...
