It's software. If the Vita comes out with apps like the 3DS (few very good, few in general) it's going to have a tough time. If they can get all their services QA knocked out AND have killers games, it should not have any problems. Smartphones are trying to deliver handheld experiences, not the other way around and for the most part are failing. They deliver great distractions, but not the caliber of portable gaming handheld users have come to expect. The Vita will do fine.
Yet games still keep cranking out on PS3. I'm sure it's challenging, but isn't almost everything in development a challenge? Suck it up already.

I can see this performing fine on both platforms. Simply b/c the PS3 has more variety (imo), people forget Black Ops sold a shit ton on PS3...basically, FPSs do fine on PS3. I look forward to what Steam features the PS3 will utilize.

They can definitely continue to ride the Kinect wave, but a $199 PS3 with the lineup it has need not be slept on. Disagree if you're scared.
Raven - Sony is supporting Move. The idea they aren't makes as much sense as thinking the 360 simply doesn't have any games.

Spring to mind, as well as all the games already out. I personally think Move is a BEAST with FPS games. I guess Kinect is a BEAST with dancing. Different strokes for different folks.
Castlevania LoS was an absolute blast! Supremely underrated game.

I never said it was dying, I said the Rise of Nightmares looks janky. You may, but I don't like dancing and running in place for $150 + games.
When Sesame Street, Disneyland, a freaking iOS port and games with only names, no gameplay are the talk of Kinectville, that's telling.
Really? It just feel like so many people have put their hopes in this game, yet everything shown looks...janky. What if it's shit, what then will be Kinect's NEXT saving grace?
Kinect has more uses outside your home. That said, get those kids in some programming classes and use the Kinect SDK.
PlayStation games always sell, slow but steady.
There are plenty of games, those same games being on PS3. The biggest factor is simply price. A $199 PS3 is all it takes. Look at the software, it ain't cause of Kinect. Having a console that can play the same games as the PS3 AND is $100 cheaper is the factor.

Both observations are subjective and really don't matter. So what if KZ3 looks better or Gears has the better action? Fans of both are and are going to be satisfied.
