Save and quit? Nah how about just not crashing...the mechanics of this game were not made with those in mind and im fine with that, but launching this game when its so buggy....yeah that shit needs to be fixed
I know the limited edition sold out way faster on PS5, the Xbox was a few days behind that but the PS4 version was available for weeks.
"need"? Honestly I'm not saying you specifically but that entitled mind set is annoying. Capcom does not have to give last gen consoles a version, it was nice of them to do so but they did not need to do it. If a game comes out on a console you dont own then well....tough. Budget, save and buy the console its for. I know harsh but its no different then PC games with high minimum specs, there comes a point where devs have to move on.
Nothing lost by having more platforms especially when the PS5/XSX are still so scarce but this is really the end of the line imo. Especially for those buying physically on Xbox. I don't think there is a single XSX version of a game on a disc yet. which given that in some cases thats the price your paying for its a bit annoying. Smart delivery is cool but down the line when people realize that the XSX version code is locked to the XB Online service and the disc is just native XB1 code I th...
Good. I think this one is going to be big for the series. Can't wait for the PS5 version
I don't think its hysterical. I think its awesome! super traditional Japanese marketing reminds me of the good old days of Segata Sanshiro.
Makes sense. The PS4 Pro is the max settings the PS5 can use in BC mode where as the 1X being more powerful to begin with seems to have allowed the devs to bump the resolution there.
It is a very good deal if and I do mean IF.....you play multiple games at a time, or can quickly finish games. The list of available titles is like a ticking timebomb or playing Russian Roulette, in that you never know if the game you were playing is going to be the next one to drop off the service. Game Pass is the Netflix of gaming, great if you don't really want to own anything. Which again there is a market for. For me its not a good deal, I take a long time to finish games and like o...
Owning both the Series X is definetly awesome for its BC efforts but that said unless you have a back catalog of old titles (which I do going back to OG Xbox) its worth is debatable. To me its invaluable though I wish MS would stop bothering with FPS boosts and get back to expanding the original catalog to just run. The fact that none of the DOA games, Otogi's, Ridge Racer 6, Ninja Blade, Crazy Taxi 3, Jet Set Radio Future and others are not on the compatibility list is really lame. I mea...
I really feel this Tales of has the potential to really be something special. Just a hunch but something about it just feels that way to me
Yes BIG props to Namco for putting out a dedicated new gen physical release unlike *cough* Ryza 2.
Same. Got the PS5 version. I feel this one might be really special like on a Vesperia level and these editions will sell out and go for double and triple in the months that follow.
I trust Kotaku about as much as I do an AIDS covered needle. I have high hopes for this game but I still feel the plot and character may be hiding something in the story, like some stupid unnecessary political message. If I'm wrong I will happily admit it. also she has got to be one of the ugliest main characters of recent memory, looks like Ellen and Eminem's 50year old love child that was put in a dryer on high spin lol. Still not going to say the world, designs and gameplay don'...
Not with Druckman there. that guy is like cancer.
really depends on what you want. owning both I can say I use them for entirely different things. Xbox has PS5 beat in terms of back library support, if older games matter to you the Xbox has a huge library some of which have massive enhancements while playing on Series X, for me that was a big reason I bought one. However Xbox is weak in terms of exclusives and must have software. Save it I don't care about Bethesda (besides Doom and Tango Games) their games are not that great. Also havin...
I really see this being another flop just like REsistance. Capcom needs to stop trying to chase PVP cash and diluting the RE franchise. RE online can only successfully exist in some combination of a story driven RE outbreak type game with co-op elements similar to Left 4 Dead, that also includes a map based co-op horde mode similar to Gears of War 2's horde mode.
That game was AWFUL and a botched attempt at the series lore to the fanbase. PVP is not where the RE license belongs. Imo a co-op horde mode style play similar to Gears of War or Left 4 Dead is the answer that has elements of RE Outbreak and RE3 style Mercs mode
its really a shame, I wanted this game to do really well but its a bit out of its element unless you have a heavy need for the nostalgia of Dreamcast era platformers. In the end I just don't think he had enough talented staff to pull this off. the Balan QTE portions reek of filler when what we would have wanted to do was take control of him ala NiGHTS. I just hope this isn't Naka's last shot to really return to form. I feel that most of these big visionaries can't achieve what...
Yup I'm in the same scenario. I loved playing games as a kid and while in college but being in my mid 30's now I have a bit more time to actually get into games without sacrificing time that needs to be spent on other things. I have always been one to really get into a games world and art but I'm finally at the point where my time, finances and lifestyle all line up to enjoy it more.
because its just how it is. If you don't like the characters design its harder to get into them and care about the story. A cool main character is often what draws people to them. I should rephrase, they didn't have to make a samus aran bombshell but theres just something completely unappealing about her design, it could just be that Ellen makes me want to vomit so the similarities I see in them are less then ideal. However the game has my interest and should it prove to be a great ga...
