Going to have to disagree. a bunch of stupid social media posts pandering does not change a thing. The platform is just as accessible as any other. There is nothing more or less friendly about MS vs Sony or Nintendo. Also while Game Pass is a great service its still another monthly rental fee
Yeah except Sony doesn't need a "PC Strategy" where as Xbox sure as hell could use a decent calendar of exclusive software....PlayStation as a publisher/service is a waste of the brand so Sony putting all its titles on PC doesn't make sense. Otherwise whats the point of still making a unique console platform? I know MS would love to turn the Xbox into just a digital service or graphics standard for subsidized PC equipment as that's in line with their other business model...

Disappointing but I would think that the re-release of VF5 will play a large roll in if VF6 happens or not. Fighting games have went from "evergreen" coin eaters to e-sports competitions and I could see that making new titles difficult for the bean counters to justify. Still the current trends in fighters have me less then thrilled with the future of the genre. Way too much DLC, over priced season passes, $100 "day 1 editions" its all just become a bit ridiculous imo.
Really glad to see Sega reviving this series, and that it was internally handled. Not that I mind the other 3rd parties bringing back Streets of Rage, Panzer Dragoon and others but I do want to see Sega's internal teams make a commitment to its classic franchises. I would love to see a Skies of Arcadia remake done in the Valkyria Chronicles engine from that team.
The game was a disaster, completely rushed and did not live up to the massive hype. Nothing is going to change that, their only responsibility at this point is to make it right for existing customers imo.
This looks fantastic, and is an excellent use of the Octopath engine and design. I would love to see this done to FF6
Good glad to hear that. To me the digital consoles are just a cheaper entry point for people who want extended rentals for games. Though given the price of digital console games I find it hard to justify this in most cases. the ELUA on these games make it very clear that you don't own them

a quick google search will show you otherwise. The disc drive when spinning up is quite noisy and noticeable and the coil whine buzzing when the power supply is under load is also well documented. I have been around 7 to 10 different PS5's all manufactured at different points and none of them are silent some just are more pronounced then others.

This article sucks for spoiling things and also 8 was the end of Ethans arc according to Capcom so I'm hoping that means a few story arc will start. I really enjoyed 8's story but I really don't care to see anymore about Rose the mold or anything related there in. 8 opened up a number of new plot points both in the past and prior to the ending of 8. I'm hoping Capcom explores those rather then just keep rapidly aging the long term characters.

Its a fantastic console, my only gripes are I wish it were actually quiet like my Series X. The disc drive is noisy and the coil whine is annoying. Overall though games, exclusives and OS functionality are really great
