No. end of article. I don't even think Nintendo should worry about this especially right now. Nintendo found a niche and at a price point most find acceptable, that with their franchises has very little to be worried about. To me I see this as a Vita that will largely play to a specific market. Only time will tell if it can break out of that
Yes but is the game any good? Much like the last Odd World will this live up to the anticipation fans have and the creativity to propel it? I just hope MS doesn't s*it the bed with this acquisition
Commies....commies everywhere....sad to see this happen
Thats bait....low rent cheap bait at that. Specs wise yes its well beyond the Switch but sales lol I don't see this thing even scratching at its heels.
Shame they didn't delay the physical release to include this patch. So at least one version would be complete in that regard
Nintendo: "What Joy-Con problem?"
A fool and his money are soon parted
before was one thing, now? Because money, the end.
the OLED Switch has to be one of the biggest let downs for me of late. its $50 more for a bunch of substandard improvements while fixing/adding nothing that people have been wanting. The screen while OLED (burn in aside) is still only 720p, the joycons are the same drift happy design, and what? a new dock mold that removes a USB for a LAN adapter. the advertised audio improvements to me are negligible.
Simplicity of use, accessible pricing, and a ton of game exclusives (timed or not), ground breaking new franchises (Gears) and great marketing. MS took most of their cues from Sony's PS2 era marketing but put their own spin on it, that along with the growth and expansion of XBLive and competitive online mechanics like the achievements and you have a very focused effort
The OST for this sounds fantastic
Is the screen better though? OLED has better color but on a portable device especially the burn in/image retention risk is very high
This is news to me? What Switch joycons fix the drift issue?
Just no. Nintendo does not care about its existing base of users with the original Switch. All these manufacturers live to remodel their hardware knowing that new and existing users will upgrade to it. Nintendo is just as guilty of this, especially in the hand held market.
Thats got to be the fugliest human character design Ive seen in a while lol
I don't hate what I played but the game is devoid of color or atmosphere. The voice acting was bad but the trailer was a terrible cut that made it seem even worse. I give them props for showing a game and giving us the demo to essentially rip apart. The game could be a sleeper hit with more dev time. I like the look of this more then Forespoken
Ah good old commie china blurring the lines between copyright infringement and flattering imitation
CRINGE
I honestly feel this will do nothing to stop the scalpers and only increase the GS bottom line, which is exactly why they are doing it
Agreed GamePass is a great service but its hurting the brands growth as seen from these figures overall. They need to be investing in third party relations and new IP not just some subscription service. being up 11% from XB1 is really not that impressive given that last gen was troublesome for them to say the least. I really like the XSX and the improvements to the brand but I feel they are getting lost in the weeds on this.
