The 199.00 360 arcade is NOT competing with the PS3. If you take the same stupid argument that they are using and compare the Arcade to the Wii, then it would be a fair comparison.

I agree with you 100%, instead of ID b!tching and whining about the 360 version disc limitations, perhaps they should create the PS3 version separately as not to hold the PS3 version back. I really think that this is just a smoke screen. Release a gimped version for the 360 and go ahead a release the 25 gig version for the PS3. Personally I don't think anyone is gonna be crying too much about it.

If using nothing else but price it would lend to the fact that the PS3 has a younger fanbase. It's usually the younger generation that whines about paying 50 bucks (not all) for live. This is because they simply can't afford it. While older people can see it for what it is. "A drop in the bucket."
Anyway, my vote goes to the PS3 having the younger fanbase.

I don't really think that europe "hates" the 360, I believe that they are a bit cautious about some of the RROD issues. Which in itself is Microsoft's fault. I think when Europe's confidence in the 360 is restored the 360 will be fine.
However if MS blows it again with the NEW system revision, it's a wrap!
Why wouldn't they release it in Europe if they have already built the IP for the us market. Most of the work would have already been done. So the way I see it is they would loose money if they made a mortal combat game and decided not to release it in europe.

Do you people know what hidden cost is? You incure hidden cost when you buy something and find out that you can't do what you "THOUGHT" you could do without paying more. When it comes to the 360, there are multiple skus, arcade, prem, and elite. If you spend 15 minutes at the store doing any research you would know that the arcade doesn't have a hard drive and that none of the units have wireless.

Sorry Bioshock is not an exclusive. Also, from what I saw of SOCOM, I really wasn't all that impressed. Resistance 2 and LBP, I agree with you 100 percent they should be great titles.
I do however believe that LBP will be harder to create your own levels for than the developer is leading us to believe. And that along could steal some thunder from this title.
