I think Microsoft could have done better in their game choices for the pro and elite. Perhaps Mass Effect and Ace Combat would have been a better bundle or Maybe Banjo-Kazooie and Too Human.

It's not like best buy did anything shady. I would say shame on best buy if the information wasn't in the fine print and they told you this information when you went to pick up your pre-order. And they you were given a tank due to limited supplies.

If you have a cool ass game room in you house, (pool table, ping pong, big screen TV, etc.) The Halo helment on the mantle or lancer hanging on the wall adds a cool flair or atmosphere to the room. It's no different from the guys with deer antlers, and bear heads mounted on the wall. They are just another form of trophy.

Drop the defense mechanism in whatever way makes you feel better, but if you look a historical performances (Playstation Consoles vs Xbox Consoles)while comparing the PS3 to the 360. Rather than smack talking about the 360, you should be asking yourself why the PS3 has not done so well in Japan (I feel it should has done over 1/2 million to this point in 2008 especially with the release of MSG4 and other titles.)
So yeah you're right the 360 isn't doing so great in Japan, but ...

This is the final chapter to a three part story. It's pretty obvious that some of you are not familiar with the series. I have read many post by UXO and one thing I can say is I can never remember him ever bashing any of the consoles. Although he does tend to challenge those that make far fetched or fanboyish comments including myself. So, if you're calling him biased, then you're wrong. He just calls people out that make outlandish comments or throws up the bullsh!t flag when he reads something that seems a bit lopsided.

That's the exact argument I was trying to make the other day when some clown was blogging about the value of Arcade 360. He started adding accessories onto it to compare it to the 399 PS3.

You make a good point, however Amazon didn't lower the price of the 360 MS did. So this sale would lead me to believe that BD sells aren't doing all that well.
Edit: Wow! 300 for 18.95 with a 43%-55% reduction. Damn, how much was amazon charging for these disks to start with. Seems to me that they are overpriced from the get go.
You can only address it in the threads that you read. And since I rarely if ever read much in the PS3 thread I guess I normally don't see it. But I see it a lot in the 360 threads.
