Yea, I'm starting to get really interested in a few PSP games that are already out like Jeanne D'arc, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, FFTactics, and Disgaea. And the PSP price point is finally at a pretty good spot for me, so I'll be picking one up next year hopefully.

So many games next year. I think I'll go broke. I'm gonna try to get a PSP for my birthday next year too for Crisis Core and God of War (and I wanna have a PSP for when Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep comes out)
Rare hasn't been as good ever since they left Nintendo. I'm still pi$$ed at Nintendo for letting them go in the first place. They made some of my favorite N64 games. And Donkey Kong has sucked ever since Rare left Nintendo.

It's nice MS is trying to fix their problems, but with all the comments I've read in this thread alone about people being on their 2nd to 3rd 360's, I can't help but wonder what their actual hardware sales would be if they didn't break so often...I believe it was similar with PS2 last gen, but to a lesser extent.
I enjoyed that article. It's nice to see some media that is honest and doesn't bash the PS3. You can't say Sony did great this year, but they definitly didn't do "bad" either. GameSpy just earned respect from me, and I think their list was pretty good. (would have put Ratchet higher, but w/e, it's their opinion)

Get Uncharted. It's a standard Adventure game lenght (10-15 hrs) and you'll probably want to get all the collectables to unlock other features. It's an amazing game and deserves more sales than it's getting.

Hadn't seen it yet either. Can't wait for this game! I hope FF XIII makes it for Nov-Dec 08 and Versus XIII Feb-Mar 09. I think that could be fairly realistic.
I thik Crisis Core has sold over 1 million, just in Japan. It proves that Final Fantasy is a system seller. They sold over 1 million PSP Systems JUST from that game I believe in Japan. I remember PSP was sold out for a while over there after that game launched, and it outsold the DS for a little while. And that plus God of War will mean very high US PSP sales in March methinks ;)

With the PS3 previously outselling the Wii for a whole month in Japan recently, just because of, what was it?, Dynasy Warriors 6?, then you can bet on them in 08 in Japan. Look at the Japaneese "Most Anticipated Games" list. It's dominated with PS3 exclusives and a couple cross-platforms (but you know they would buy PS3 before 360)

360 has good games, yes, but it's been out 2 years, you cant tell if it'll rise to the level of greatness in the rest of it's life.
360 should be taken out and N64 should be put in at #6, with NES at #5 and everything below 6 moved down one.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! I JUST CREAMED IN MY JEANS!!!!!!!! It's games like this, that LITERALLY send shivers down my spine, that make me love gaming so much.
Games like Mario Galaxy are great (and that's my personal choice for GOTY) but it just doesn't give me the same feeling something like this does!

The media shows viewers what they want. Majority of X-Play viewers own 360, so they'll put more 360 games. Majority of Americans that go to reviews and such own a 360, so 360 games will be able to "catch a break" on problems better than PS3 games. (Mass Effect is a great example)
Bioshock will probably win, but Galaxy SHOULD win IMO. and either Ratchet, Uncharted, or BOTH should be in there. probably take out Halo 3 or Assasin's Creed.

compared to Wii. Zack and Wiki, excellent "harcore" game exclusive to Wii by Capcom, has only sold LESS THAN 35,000 copies.
