pathetic. If you'r going to put current gen systems on the list, Wii should be there instead of Gamecube seeing how Gamecubes best games it's whole life cycle were Mario, Smash Bros., Zelda, Metroid, mabye a couple others, and the Wii already has almost all of those out in just over a year. I'm not saying Wii deserves to be in there, but moreso than the Gamecube if they allowed current gen systems.

PS3 has White Knight Story and Disgaea 3 (FFXIII VERY unlikely)

everyone is forgetting that Wii Fit will outsell almost all of these titles. I hate WiiFit's idea and stuff, but the casual Wii owners that make up a good third or more of the next-gen gaming market love it.
out of that huge list the only one I'm jelous of is Tales of Vesperia. Which is timed exclusive and will come to PS3 next year with bonus content.
I like Gears 1, but never got into it. Ninja Gaiden is awesome, and I am kinda jelous of NG2, but I havn't followed the seris all that much so it's not a huge loss.
All I hope for is that Naughty Dog will announce a new Jak game for this year. That would instantly become my most anticipated game.
oh...my...gawd. This is horrible. The Wii's online is already, by FAR, the far worst of the 3. Why the HECK would anyone pay for extra features that are most likely standard on PSN. I will not pay for Wii online unless it's some super awesome thing way better than XBL, which i SEVERELY doubt.
Oh well, I use my PS3 to play online, my Wii is just for Nintendo's occasional first party masterpieces.

I love the Tales games and I have a PS3 instead of a 360. Oh well, at least it's coming to PS3 eventually. hopefully with upgrades.
I would put in Resistance 2 for Prototype, but other than that, Nice list. I guess prototype could be pretty good though. I played that Hulk game at a friend's house a long time ago and it was fun.
this is gonna be one heck of a game. This is right up there with Super Smash Bros. Brawl on my most wanted level.

can't wait till Smash Bros. comes out over here in US. That's the only Wii game I'm getting this year, but it'll be amazing.
I'm a Fire Emblem fanboy, so I got this game at launch a few months ago, and it's great. It was my main reason for getting a Wii in the first place (along with Brawl) and it was great.
along with the moral-challenging gameplay, the storyline of this game will challenge racism, moral, and religion. It's a great game that would be worth getting just for the story IMO.
Activision certainly showed that there IS a LOT of money to be made on the PS3 if you aren't lazy and actually put forth a little effort. CoD4's PS3 sales alone are great, and it's the best selling PS3 game now. If only other publishers *cough EA cough* would follow Activisions lead and realize that PS3 owners DO buy games, just not CRAPPY games.
Good interview. I love how they accept critisizm as a way to improve themselves rather than get devensive about it. Insomniac really is a great company in all aspects and I currently own every game they've made since the first Spyro the Dragon on PS1 and they will keep getting my purchases with Resistance 2 as long as they keep doing the amazing job they've been doing for a decade.
it seems to me that most reviewers are bashing this game mainly because it's a JRPG. it seems like an above average JRPG to me, a worthy 8-8.5 area. I guarantee you that if this was an above average FPS it would be getting much higher scores.
That being said, it looks like this won't be the stellar RPG to get me to buy a 360 like i thought it might end up being earlier on.
Turok looks like crap on the PS3 in the first place. It's just lazy developers, and I played the demo and it was mediocre at best. It seems most reviews feel the same way.
Why don't they do a DMC4 comparison? Or just stop with the FiretrUCKING comparisons period?

do these people have no lives to the point that they can't go do ANYTHING else for 23 minutes? Plus, IGN said it DOES decrease the load times and improve other things like textures so my question to you is this: Would you rather wait 20 minutes at a time BEFORE you've even played the game, and then have shorter load times inbetween parts of the game, or get starting right away but have longer load times in the middle of your game?

Glad to see some actual games in the Japaneese top charts this week like Smash Bros. and Devil May Cry instead of the usual Wii Fit, Wii Play, Wii Sports, Nintendogs, Brain Training, More Brain Training, etc.
I agree definitly that the Wii has those great games (I'd put in Fire Emblem too. I love that seris), but the problem I have with my Wii is that inbetween the HUGE releases there isn't much at all to play.
And it also seems they used a lot of their big guns last year to the point that Brawl is currently the only Wii game I'm buying this year (unless Tales of Symphonia 2 comes this year)
another great review. I get my PSP in April and I'll get this game then too. I almost wanna wait for the Kratos red PSP bundle, but I don't know if I could wait that long. =D
