It's going to be like this gen: Devs will cut out resolution when it progress trough the gen to make up for tle lack of upgrade (Or the framerate)

Those are the kind of game that screenshot doesn't do it justice. I've played the witcher 2 on my pc at max settings (beside fucking uber sampling) at 2560*1440 and it's probably one of the prettiest game I've ever played. I'm sure they will deliver with the witcher 3 and I can't wait to play it.

People seem to forget they where the one who powered their ps3s and they declined sony's offer for the ps4 because they would rather put money and development time on more interesting project.

I don't get consoles gamer... They are super excited that X next gen consoles is just better hardware wise but when you point out they are only doing 30 fps or 1080p because the hardware is mid range from 2011 they don't give a bat eyes.
Personally, both are pretty lame if you check back at what ps3/360 was at their time (considered high end), ps4 is just a tiny bit less lame.

At the start of last gen ps3 was about as powerful as a high end pc.
The ps4 is't even close to one that was made in december of 2011 with the release of the 7970 and it's not even out yet. Probably a good 25-30% slower then a 7970... Xbone is even worst. Not talking about those slow clocked cpu too...
