Well it's kinda true. PC is an open platform so the flexibility is much much more important then any console will ever be.
Right now my 2 year old pc stil blow ps4/xbone out of the water and it was't that expensive. Today you can get a 740$ pc that literally destroy what ps4 can do, you don't have to pay for online, you have MUCH MUCH cheaper games and the library is 10 fold bigger then ps4's.

ps4 is 400$ it cost around 400$ just to play online and games are 70$ a pop + the price of games drop way slower then on pc.
with 750$ you get a better gaming pc then the ps4, you get cheaper games and more flexibility. PC gaming is cheaper, I'Ve probably saved over 2 grand in the past 5 year alone then if I would bought all these games on consoles. Anyone saying otherwise is just plain wrong.

I think console gamer miss the part where for every exclusive there is on a console there is literally 15 others on pc. PC's library is around 21k games. Ps2 did around 2000 and ps3 still didn't break 1000 games.
To me it's about getting the best experience you can, not about money you spend on hardware, That's why I game on pc. I think you guys also underestimate how much you actually save on games, you gould get a 1500$ pc today and in 7 year you'd save ...
