I'm sure engineering chips with over 7 billion transistor smaller then the eye can see and making sure it does not over heat or fry is just as easy as ducktaping it together mate.
take a look at the great games: Boring ass story: the movie, Online not working 5, Follow the rail, boring cool car screenshot, copy pasta: the game, pewpewpew 4 and finally press X to not die as a pirate.
And that's why nintendo is irrelevant as far as hardware goes. in 2-3 year there will be an emulator for the console itself and we won't have to deal with low res games. Thwey should just become a software company really.
No, not at all. You will always pay more for console game. At release or after release. The reason why is that it's how sony and microsoft make their money. Every copy sold they claim like 7-10$ off it. We just need to cut the middle man and let console die. It would be just better with 1 big open platform. But that's too hard for the people who love some beloved franchise that are hold up by those same corporation.
Some game are made for 64 players, some not. Battlefield is one of those. Map design went to shit after battlefield 2 since they tried to make it accesible for console and it's preaty lame.

Out of those 20 must play games on ps4 there is half of them that can be played on pc/xbone... The other half is a mix of small indie game and bland ip remake.

We had the game for like a year for free and I played it in 2560*1440... Guess you have to wait for the next next gen to even get that lul.

Depend on the games really. some other game really on cpu horsepower like rts (civ come to mind) will offer you up to 15-30% increase.
But yeah, games are gpu bound more then cpu that's not new and wont change.
