It does look awful. But Sunshine and Galaxy did look wonderful though. They did say those game would run at an improved framerate and resolution, so we’ll see how this turn out.
That should be the case. I also believe that they are planning to sell this individually afterward. I don’t support this, they could have just keep selling those games as a collection and still make tons of money out of it.
Did you even watch the trailer? It clearly said that the collection will feature newer HD graphic.
You’re right. How dare they re-release some of their best games for the 25th anniversary of their biggest franchise ever? Especially when a new Paper Mario just came out around 2 months ago?
They did remaster it with HD graphic. The announcement trailer showed that.
With or without Mario, the Switch would still sell this holiday due to Animal Crossing.
If they play their cards right it could be big for them. Japanese love to play games on mobile, and xCloud will provide them with AAA games.
I was one of the early adopters and bought the console along with Uncharted. Such great memories with the console back then.

There had been a few game running on Xbox SX before, namely Gears 5.
At least they have a great showing in Rachet and Clank. MS and and Nintendo were nowhere to be found, at least not exclusive-wise.

My PC is Intel i7 4790 and GTX 1070. Nowadays this is a midrange spec, yet I could run the game just fine at 1080p 60fps with minor frame drop here and there in crowded areas.
Obviously the have has a high system requirement, and if you try to run it on a lower system it won't work well

I do agree. I love everything about the game except for the combat. Maybe they should do real-time combat like BOTW for the next game, but that would make the game even less of an RPG.
Because it’s on the Switch and not other console.
