From the article:
“ According to the analyst, there are several reasons why the Nintendo Switch is slated to outperform a next-gen console as hyped as the PS5.
The analyst reports that Nintendo increases profits at a rate of roughly 10% year-over-year, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s actually seen a profit boost of 48%.
In addition to that, the Nintendo Switch has been notably difficult to track down on retail and digital store...
“ What game like aspects does it have, is there a campaign? is there missions? goals? ”
There are challenges in the game to complete as well as achievements. Simulator games aren’t for everyone though. As for me, I enjoy a short flight here and there to places that I could never visit. It somehow feel really relaxing.
Then you should try this one, especially if you are a Gamepass member. It’s just mindless coop fun.
Nintendo had said it themselves that Covid 19 had hit their development hard and games had to be delayed. I personally glad we get Wii U games instead of nothing at all, as I did not own the Wii U (nor the Wii).
Hellblade 2 will be there if you want that kind of stuff.
I don't think this is your kind of game then.
Google Earth Pro is not a game though. It just display static photos.
Maybe I’ll try flying across the North Pole to see if a certain man who like riding on a reindeer sleigh is there.
"it would be very disappointing if you couldn’t fly over places/landmarks."
You do realize that there are more than just one flight simulator on the market right? Not all of them (if any) feature almost all landmarks in the entire world like MS Flight Simulator.
Isn’t that the point of a Flight Simulator? What else do you want to do, go steal a car and run over a hooker?
The point is you could fly over almost anything.
If you don’t find that cool or impressive...then you can try finding other game with this same feature.
I don’t think it would be possible to create individual textures for every buildings in the entire world. At least not just by one dev.
Free is always great. I’ll grab this.
The devs already addressed that in a post a day after the trailer gone live. This was pre alpha gameplay and they will hire more staff and will make more improvement to the game. This game will come out in 2022 at the earliest, so they have plenty of time.
Apparently it is not for those who enjoy it.
“ What the hell did Microsoft for 10 years?“
Why not Activision? Take Two? Ubisoft? Blizzard? EA? Bethesda?
Why is MS the only one?
"I guess dashboard updates instead of releasing good games to boost hype is pretty common on the xbox platform."
I don't understand why you have such short term memory. Isn't Gears 5 a game? How about Ori and The Will of the Wisp? Battletoad? Grounded? Or the one that is coming at the end of this month, Tell Me Why? Or the other upcoming games such as Flight Simulator and Gears Tactics? Or heck even the next gen ones such as Fable and Hellblade 2?
...
"It’s funny, so what you’re saying is that Sony is “over saturating” the market with the PS4?"
I'm talking about oversaturating the market with MULTIPLE SKUs. The Xbox One SKUs will be able to play most if not all MS' games for the next two years, so they wouldn't want alot of consoles on the shelf to confuse the customer.
Or they don’t want to saturate the market with multiple products since the next gen Xbox will be arriving soon with the series X and series S. Plus, Xbox One S sell more than One X, so it is only natural that MS focus more on the former.
If Nintendo releases the rumored Mario 3D Collection, then I think even Sony would have a hard time selling 1 million unit per week, especially if the supply is constrained as reported.
