Exclusive-wise (if you count remaster) so far this year the Switch has Bayonetta 1+2, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, Mario Tennis, Octopath Traveller, and Kibry Star Allies.
The PS4 have God of War, Shadow of the Colussus, Yakuza 6, and Detroit.
You do the math.
Yet he had just made a game which scored 97% on Metacritic, something that no other devs beside Nintendo themselves with BOTW can do this gen.
Yeah...and he achieved that while “losing his touch” with gaming. Kindda amazing isn’t it.
A Star Trek game would still be awesome though.

Are you saying games like Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, Octopath Traveller, Mario+Rabbids and all the remastered games like Mario Kart 8D, Donkey Kong TF, Bayonetta 2, and Captain Toad have no quality?
If so that is a biased way of looking at things.
I talked about “recent good racing game” and by definition, GT Sport is not one. Unless you consider a game that got 75% on Metacritic (GT Sport) as an equal to or better than a game that got 91% (FH3) then all the power to ya mate.
Octopath is not indie. On the indie, AA games, and exclusive games front they have all that covered already. Which is why it is smart for Nintendo to try and get more AAA game on the Switch.
I don’t know if this is possible, but they could always break down the game into levels/sections instead of having a huge open world. However, then there is the game’s price to consider. They have to charge it lower than other versions.

I didn’t realize you could play games like Bayonetta2, DK Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, and Mario Tennis on your PS4.
Because it might come out the same year as the Last of Us II and might take the GOTY crown from it.
