Both issues are separate and are handled by separate entities.
Also this is done to protect the interest of gamer. If you are actually one, you would be happy to hear this.

I’m a Nintendo fan but I don’t support this kind of limitation. Nintendo should have allowed cloud save for all games (or at least, limited cloud save for multiplayer games which have rankings like Splatoon or Smash).
Let see if the pressure will get to them.

I’m sorry, but it always irk me whenever I hear people say that. What source do you base on when you say Sony have the most crossplay titles than other consoles, especially since now MS and Nintendo open crossplay with eachother and Sony don’t?
It is their game after all. They have the right to release on whatever storefront/platform they want.
I don’t think MS care about “true” exclusive anymore. What they want is to sell their ecosystem, which mean getting people to play on both the X1 and Windows 10.
I for one ain’t complaining about that. I don’t own an X1, so I’m happy that they release this game on PC as well.

Have you played the Witcher 3? I trust them on this, many of the Witcher 3’s sidequests are very good, long, and impactful.
On a sidenote, is it wrong for them to try and hype their game?
No one is asking for Sony exclusive to appear on other platform. That is a silly request and is something that will never happen. All people are asking for is proper crossplay, which Sony doesn’t have to do anything beside just enabling it.

I was waiting for the Switch version too, but I pulled the trigger and got it on PC yesterday.
And let me tell you, I’m glad that I didn’t wait. This is one of the best RPGs in recent years.
