Damn. The Switch is killing it in Japan. Good to see the 3DS still doing nicely.
They are not forced to use anything. There are Mac OS and Linux that they choose. People use Windows because it is more streamlined and user friendly.
Interesting...
The only bad thing that I hear about State of Decay and We Happy Few are their bugs and lack of optimizations. With more manpower, more resources, and more dev time all those things can be solved. This is where MS comes in.
Uhh they had just recently opened another studio specifically to make a new Fable. Where have you been?
At this point I think some people here just want to see MS fail no matter what they do. It has gone from constructive criticism to mindless hate.
No wonder why I hate the gaming community sometimes.
Cloud? I thought certain fanbase hate that term.
Do Nintendo own Skyrim, Doom, and Diablo? Are they the one who charge $60 for those games?
That “physical” items is yours to keep forever and can be used with multiple new and old games. Plus you can use it for display or resell it.
Better than buying a DLC with the similar price right?
I seem to remember MS and Sony did the same thing as well during the PS4 and X1’s early years on the market.
But who would remember that right?
Here is a quote from the article:
“Miyamoto’s criticism comes as the free-to-play model — including loot boxes and microtransactions — drives record profits. Instead of charging an up-front one-time fee”
A subscription service is not the worst kind of nickel and dime. You know what you get upfront, and you are not force to use it.
@shuvam
For your information, R&C and SotC are from the PS2 era and their remastered version added nothing new beside upgrade graphic. Remastered game on the Switch (such as Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8D, and Captain Toad) are from last gen and actually add something new beside upgraded graphic.
On the topic of remastered’s price, you conveniently seem to forget that The Last of Us remastered costed $60 on the PS4 too. But who is talking about that, righ...
It seem that the only good gaming company in the word is Sony, at least to this guy.
Which game from 2008 that they still charge full price?
Actually it is a dlc. It is called Cuphead The Delicious Last Course. From what I had seen, it is quite a big dlc.
What next gen stuff? Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Crackdown 3, Battletoad, new Cuphead, and Ori are coming out this gen aren’t they?
And yet you still get upvoted for all your ridiculous comments on this articles.
Some people are sad.
@oldboy
“AND also the one with largest 1st party output.”
I love how you move the discussion to something else. And even so, you statement is still incorrect. Nintendo is the one with the largest 1st party output.
Yeah because the Vita is a failure. You can bet ur a** that if it was a success like the Switch, Sony would charge for online like they did with the PS4 too.
In my opinion Pokemon is likely gonna push sale more than Smash, as it is gonna attract a lot of causal to the console.
