Wrong. It has been proven through the industry that the most powerful console is not automatically positioned to dominate the market. Also this is totally natural in the market and when Sony releases the PS5, is going to be more powerful than Scorpio and on and on.
Scorpio will not have the great quality experience library that PS4 has. Is not even going to have exclusives. MS had a superior console back then and still the PS2 (less powerful) dominated the market. Is going ...
"Huge Leap Ahead of Any Console"
Until PS5 arrives!
Also, it will not surpass the PS4 dominance nor will come close to have a high quality exclusive library as the PS4. Microsoft will learn that power alone is not the formula for success.
If it has a high price, I highly doubt it.
Also if it outsell the PS4, it would be only on the USA and just some months. Cumulatively speaking, Scorpio will not outsell or surpass the PS4.
4K console gaming started with PS4 Pro unless you don't care about reality and just wants to make your own.
I can't just imagine how an even greater beast the PS5 is going to be. We will see how this plays out for Ms.
Can't wait to see how this is going to impact Xbox in the whole market. It is going to have exclusive games? Will it be able to match Playstation amazing flow of high quality exclusive games? Will it sell more than Playstation worldwide? Apart from the hard-core loyalist, is people going to pay that much for a console?
Is going to be interesting to see the impact of this strategy and if Playstation will keep dominating the market with its amazing exclusive library like...
A console is designated "king" when is ruling the console market and not just because of specs. If that was the case, then the Sega Saturn, turbo graph or neo growth should be Kings and they were not.
But 2 years ago Xbox fans were preaching that quality /resolution didn't matter at all and that gameplay was the most important thing. Why the 180 turn now? Why not stand with previous statements instead of changing everytime the tide turns?
Proven wrong? The Nintendo switch doesn't even have 3 months in the market. There is no other compelling software apart from Zelda. Once the smoke clears, we will see the real trending line about the Nintendo Switch.
PS4 Pro does native 4k a year before the Scorpio so if that is the big appeal of the Scorpio, I wish them good luck as that will not even scratch Sony.
Pretty sure this game will deliver big time.
I bet those "records" doesn't even come close to any record set by Sony or Microsoft. Why not bring any official sales data and let people judge that?
Let's talk again 3 months from now when the smoke is clear.
When the Xbox team criticized PS4 for having "no games", I don't remember multiple support was part of that count.
I would buy it if there was a compelling reason to buy it. After Zelda, there is nothing else interesting so, I am not paying almost 400 just to play Zelda.
As long as people keep applauding and defending Nintendo for these things, they will keep doing the same.
I think I will wait until they fix all the problems.
Nintendo will get the same results while doing the same stuff. I wish Nintendo would be a giant again like in the 90s but they have lost their touch with the mainstream gamers.
If people ignored all the problems with Zelda, horrible framerate, last gen graphics and cartoonist style and still enjoyed the game, then what should stop people from enjoying ME A with its flaws?
While I am glad Zelda is a good game, it is very far from being the future of blockbuster games. We are at 2017 and Zelda still lacks good acting and dialog, Link still does not speak and the graphic are very very low standard.
And since the article brought up HZD, then is fair to say that Zelda will never reach the quality and sales that new IP is having. If we are going to talk about blockbuster, then HZD is obviously on that track rather than Zelda.
Doesn't work like that. Power alone will not force Sony to make a new console. If the PS4 keeps dominating the market, and probably will, then there is no need for Sony to rush a console or maybe you forgot how the PS2 dominated the market while being the less powerful console and how it is the best selling console in history?
