Will be getting my Vita tomorrow and I got the download code from amazon. PSN I.d is piedpiper_85 if anyone wants to add me.
Deals are not as good as the Black Friday deals, but hopefully some gamers who missed out on some can purchase something.
I was checking that monitor but unfortunately it was sold out here in NY. I would have liked to use it for PC as well, but I don't think the nvidia drivers work with it for 3D.
I gotta agree with the majority on this one. PS+ is worth it for customers like me who make so few purchases a year for their PS3, as I've moved over to PC for most of my single player and Battlefield gaming. I let mine run out a couple of days ago, but with the recent Black Friday sale of the Assassin's Creed Vita bundle, it more than makes up for it as you're getting to rent games for both systems and paying one low price of $50. If you factor in the normal cost of let's say...
I ordered my Vita yesterday during the Assassin's Creed sale, but I think I may just pass on the Declassified. Bought MOH on PC and I regret paying the $40 I spent. It's not as horrid as people may think, but it certainly does not hold up to today's standard shooters. Hopefully another COD game will grace the Vita with a much stronger effort as I heard the dev time was limited. Getting a more established dev team would help.
Got the Assassin's Creed Vita bundle. That was quite a deal as it was only 10 bucks more than a Nintendo DS. Unfortunately Sony cannot price that Vita at that price permanently, but I believe that price could be the so called "sweet spot" many talk about. One thing they need to do is slip a 4GB memory card in every vita. Those memory cards are too darn expensive. Hopefully gamers can catch a great sale soon.
I believe it's your PSU. I have a Corsair PSU and it keeps the same ticking noise on occasions (very rare). You can rma it if you want, but more than likely you might get back the same issue. Mine gives me no trouble besides that so I really have no complaints.
%500-$800 pc can max out many games, but it really depends on what game you're playing and what you want to get out of it. I have a GTX 680 and games like dishonored don't even use 600mb of ram on my card while playing at 1080p, because quite frankly it's not that graphic intensive and it's not been optimized for PC. Alternatively when I play battlefield 3 on ultra I believe my card utilizes nearly up to 1700mb depending upon the map in multiplayer.
Seeing that 1080p ...
I've preordered it but not too sure how it'll all turn out. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays.
IMO Daniel Craig is one if not the best Bonds to play the role (yes I have seen Sean Connery and others). I guess to each his own.
Bought it off of eBay for $11 two days ago and to be honest I'm glad I didn't spend a cent more. I have the PC version and I've played the console demo, but IMO it's not that great of a game. Solid 7-7.5 out of 10. As you said the multiplayer is very objective which means that some people may not being paying attention to. I will finish the campaign and play the multiplayer sparingly, but right now I'm playing BF3 and Walking Dead.
I have to agree it felt a bit different than the previous entries in the installment, but that's not necessariy a bad thing. If they had made it similar to the previous entries some may have argued that there's been no progression. I enjoyed it, so I guess the ol proverb to each his own is applicable.
On a side note I would like to address the author's take on the characters speaking "Brazilian". The Brazilian language is called Portuguese and it's not gibbe...
Wow! Obviously you're seeking attention. I shall however impart some words of wisdom. Don't allow ignorance to rule your life because you're swimming in it.
Good read . The only game I've seen my gf remotely interested in recently was heavy rain. It was nice to get her involved.
Unfortunately N4G has many idiots on here. It's a little concerning and sad at the same time.
I gather that because Mike is in the game the prize of the boxing glove would be relevant in some form.
I wish I could have continued watching, but this guy/kid is quite annoying. Not only does he love the sound of his voice, but he also sounds like a freaking lunatic! "Did he just dieeeeeeeee?" LMAO!!!
The Witcher 2 I believe is a bit more taxing than those other 2 games where I believe the recommended setting is 1GB VRAM and GeForce 260 with 4GB of system ram. I gather a gtx 560 or amd 6850 should suffice.
Competition in the sense that EA has their own service then yes. They offer games that are not available anywhere else such as (surprise) current EA games. However, until EA has current deals that Valve implements on steam daily, then I've got to say Steam is still the place to go to buy and play your games. I use BF3 obviously for Origin, but that's about it.
I just bought the Assassin's Vita bundle and I must admit I am impressed by the piece of hardware. I can only speak for myself, but my purchase was based off of the technical specifications and the price I bought it for. Amazon's $179 Black Friday sale lured me in and had it not been priced under $200 I probably would not have purchased it.
I am quite aware of it's technical abilities and graphical capabilities, but I think people must be honest on these forums and realiz...
