To those who are saying shut the "F**k up". I was merely stating my displeasure that PC gamers were not getting it a higher resolution. In regards to my preordering it I said I "would've held off", meaning until they implemented at a higher rez or a mod was made . That's all! No need for the personal attacks or name calling. Disagrees don't bother me, but I gather we live in a world where some people believe that in order to express their opinions the feel the ...
This is ridiculous in this day and age of PC gaming! It's nice that PC gamers can get this game, but limiting players to 1080p is unacceptable. I would've postponed my preorder yesterday had I known this, but hopefully we can change the configuration files through a mod to get the game in 1200p and higher.
Well if it's a sony owned first party of course you can't play games from polyphony and whatnot. Bringing up first party studios is irrelevant and does not add to the debate as we all know they cannot be enjoyed by any other platform but said owner.
To each his own. I believe the reason why this game is scoring lower is probably because everyone was looking for innovations which in my eyes was none really. It however is a great game and very similar to is predecessors so to my that makes it a solid game. Story wise it may not be as great as Arkham City, but gameplay wise it's just as good I believ. A nice 8/10 from me.
LOL! I just had a feeling it was going to be Uncharted. This is their greatest franchise in terms of sales and there's no way they wouldn't put another one out there. Give the people what they want I say and I'm sure they're going to deliver.
That's what I did. It took me about 10-15 tries to beat him like "jimmywolf" said. When I did beat him it took me about 10-12 mins on hard. It's not that easy when you just be patient and only give him 3-4 hits and then wait for him to counter. I find it to be a pretty great game. It has lost its shine because it's the 3rd entry and we kind of know what to expect, but it's pretty darn good. I also am playing the PC version @ Garethvk.
If you mean PhysX then that is only dedicated to Nvidia graphic cards. AMD cards do not have that feature.
Yes more than likely they're using a 360 controller as I do as well.
This is great news.
IMO I don't think it's better than Arkham City especially in terms of atmosphere; but uninspired gameplay? It's pretty much the same from the previous entry so how can it be uninspired unless you're hinting that Arkam City was uninspired as well?
LOL! I think it's more along the lines that this game was optimized for Nvidia hardware. Similarly to the upcoming Assassin's Creed game for PC.
This is the handheld version to point out , not the console.
LOL! That's quite a combination you would have there. I have mine preordered for PC and going to get it for PS4. Multiplayer looks great!
Next gen consoles will have the same number of players as PC.
That was very impressive.
I think the situation is that many were under the perception that next- gen consoles would perform on par with PC. It simply won't be the case with some games and that is something that we all need to accept.
The Xbox 1 and PS4 will be impressive and will continue to be optimized throughout its lifespan. Yet getting open world games to run at 60 fps at the scale of grand theft auto is asking a lot from devs without thinking there will be compromises.
I think you would need to play both games in order to make that statement. No? Unless you already have.
It's the "love of money" and not money alone that is the root of all evil.
You might be waiting for a while my friend. I've seen some sales, but if one that size ever hit that price it would sell like hotcakes!
I hear ya on that. I picked up Tearaway myself. I'm not really a platform/puzzle gamer, but I like to try new things, plus I figured I can enjoy it in spurts. The thing about IGC is that many gamers may do the "wait and see" approach. I've myself done it with steam and PS plus. Money is at times tight especially with a family so you start to think should I drop $40-$60 on a game. Even if I can afford I try to hold out on the single player games. I've done games like The ...
